Being An Affiliate Can Change Your Life

Hi Isyaias,

In this issue we are going to talk about whether or not being an
affiliate can change your life.

Being an associate affiliate can be extremely profitable, but it's not
as easy as all the gurus make it sound. After all, you have to
generate targeted traffic and make it convert in order to get paid.
That means convincing people, most of them with short attention
spans, to take sign up for offers or make purchases through your
link.

This works out well for both parties because the producer doesn't
pay you money until you give them some leads or customers.
Associate affiliates use this relationship to make money without
having to worry about customer service or product delivery. It sort
of lowers the risk for both involved parties.

For beginners, this is a great way to start earning money. You'll
also learn the ropes of internet marketing and this is vital to your
long term success. Of course, your site might have its own goal,
but starting off with promoting a product that is already converting
and optimized you're making things a lot easier for yourself.
Doing so requires a combination of factors almost all of which are
under your control, which is a good thing.

Many companies will allow you to sign up for their affiliate program
even if you don't have a website of your own. On the other hand,
some companies require you to have a website that's closely
related to their niche and you'll need to submit traffic stats to them
in order to become an associate affiliate for them.

After all, if you have the same topics on your sites, there's a
greater likelihood of crossover from readers.  If you had a soccer
website, you probably wouldn't have crossover readers for a site
on wheelchairs.

Another factor to know about is keywords. Keywords are the
words that people put into search engines to look for a specific
topic or subject. Just about anything can be a keyword phrase,
but some keywords are more profitable than others.

These are usually keywords which have moderate to high
searches on a regular basis and a low number of competing
pages. Optimize your sites for the most profitable keywords and
you'll stand a greater chance of not only making sales, but
securing a hands-off income stream.

Of course, being an associate affiliate isn't the be all and end all.
Unless you're simply there to make money, you probably opened
a website because it's something you're interested in. If you're not
enjoying it anymore and you're not just in it for money, feel free to
move on to more interesting prospects.

You have to be in a place that's good for you otherwise, you
wouldn't be able to stand the grit and the everyday pressure that a
website demands. If you're still interested, there's a lot of money
to be made being an associate affiliate and if you go about the
process correctly you can turn your efforts into residual, long term
rewards.

To your success,

Three Easy To Do Steps Starting Affiliate Marketing

Hi ,

Affiliate marketing is said to be the agreement between an online business and an affiliate, in which the affiliate makes a payment for making sales, guides and clicks for the businessperson's website.

Affiliate marketing functions a condition, which is beneficial to both the business and the affiliate. The businessperson gets chances to promote his products without charge to a bigger market, which will improve the sales of his business.

The more reliable affiliates he find, the more sales he can anticipate to come. By looking for affiliates to promote his products and services, he is already reducing his time, attempts and money in searching for potential markets and clients.

As a customer clicks on the link in the affiliate site and buys the product, he or she suggests it to other customers who is on the course of searching for the similar item or purchases it again, this way the businessperson's influences his opportunity of profiting. Then again, the affiliate marketer gains from every client who clicks on the link in his site and who eventually buys the product or gets the service offered by the businessperson.

Normally, the affiliate acquires payments per sale made, which can be settled on a percentage or definite amount. The nice thing about this is that it will not charge a dollar to join in an affiliate program.

If you are thinking to be an affiliate marketer and earn money on the internet, you can follow the below listed three most essential steps to begin your efficient affiliate marketing campaign.

  • The first thing you should do is to recognize a specific area you are fascinated with or passionate about so you will not be jaded and required to improve your affiliate site afterwards. Focus on a particular area you are familiar with, this will help you show your finest efforts and expertise. There are different places you can research on, so feel free to select a particular area you can learn more.

  • The second thing is to search for a well compensating businessperson and high quality products. Create a list of well compensating and high quality affiliate programs for your selected area and make a site. In selecting a product, you should think of the assistance that they are willing to give you. This includes the promotional materials such as articles, links, banner advertisements, classified ads and so on.

  • The third step is of course learning how to get the proper linking programs in your websites program. Also, develop your own strategies and methods to market the products and services.

There are many affiliate groups and affiliate result providers that can offer you information on the most moneymaking products and well compensating businesses available. Therefore, be clever enough to select the accurate affiliate program fit for you.   Once you are sure about which products to market and the business to support and have made your own site with an area name and dependable hosting provider, you are prepared to do the promotion. This is the hardest part, since by mean of this you should be capable of enhancing traffic to the business website, sales and certainly, earnings.

In affiliate marketing, it is probable to make huge amount of money in the least period of time if you utilize the accurate techniques and ways.

Promoting a product would mean a different topic. You should be consistent in informing yourself by reading books, course or important articles on the internet about the effective and proven promoting strategies.

Keep in mind, there is no fast way to success. Affiliate marketing may appear very appealing because of the number of encouraging statements of both the businesses and affiliate marketers who have gained from it. However, it still includes an excellent pact of effort and determination. You are also required to be resourceful and elastic.

There are affiliate marketers that do not realized this, so when they do not get sales, they  give up, search for other affiliate programs and keep on doing the same mistakes.  Then after a while, you will hear them saying affiliate marketing is only one of the rip offs existing online. You can surely taste the excellence of success if you use the proper techniques in affiliate marketing. You can earn more money as an affiliate marketer if you are determined to do the things it needed to work.

Above all, keep your intelligence and stay wise as you get started with affiliate marketing. Follow the three steps and it will surely lead you to the success you are longing for.

    Who Should You Trust

    Hi Isyaias,

In the last issue we talked about  jump starting your online
marketing campaign for greater success. In this issue we are
going to talk about finding an internet marketing expert that you
    can trust to teach you.

Which internet marketing experts should you turn to?  These
people, who have been tagged as "gurus" by some, have more
experience in the IM world than others.  But, it seems like there's a
new "guru" on the block every day.  So who should you trust to
    teach you the ropes?

Here's a check list on how to evaluate internet marketing experts.

Have they actually made money doing the things they are
    advising you to do?

Ironically, many internet marketing "experts" are most expert at
promoting themselves.  They'll tell you, for instance, to stay out of
the "internet marketing" niche because the "experts" have it
cornered.  Instead, they'll say to go into less competitive niches.
But, if you press them, they will have to admit that they've never
been in any other niche themselves.

    Are they transparent?

The "gurus" that I like best are the ones who will show you what
niches are actually making them money. They're not afraid they'll
lose their precious "position" to someone less experienced than
they are.  This transparency allows you to evaluate them wisely.

Do they give you a step by step plan?

The internet marketing experts who are best at teaching newbie
and internet marketers are those who can provide detailed, step
    by step plans for success.

Do you trust that they have done what they say?

It's really easy to say they made "a million dollars" from a system
when you are on the internet.  You don't even have to keep a
straight face. You can also photoshop Paypal and Clickbank
screen shots to "show" that you have made a lot more money than
you really have. So, when finding a guru to follow, you should have
a gut feeling that they have done what they've said they've done.

Is their plan something you feel you can do?

There are many kinds of internet marketing experts.  Some
recommend setting up a network of blogs and doing a ton of
writing.  Others use pay per click marketing in their strategies.
Some urge you to go offline and contact business owners to build
websites for them.  All of these strategies can work.  The trick is to
find a guru who can teach you the strategies you are most
    comfortable with yourself.

Do they say you can do it with "no work." ?

Let's face it, there's very little in life that you can achieve with no
work.  Every once in a while, someone hits a jackpot. Whether it is
in Las Vegas or online.  But, for the most part, making money of
any kind requires work.  If you see a guru promising a "no work"
    system, run away fast.

    Is it ethical?

There are a number of ways you can make money on the internet
that some can live with and others find downright unethical.  Make
sure you are able to live with yourself in the morning before you
    start any internet marketing scheme.

There are many people claiming to be internet marketing
"experts."  Choose wisely before selecting an expert to follow.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about improving your internet marketing results by offering value.

    To your success,

Jump Starting Your Online Marketing Campaign For Greater Success

    Hi Isyaias,

Welcome back to the Internet Marketing For You Newsletter!

In the last issue we talked about separating your personal life from
your business. In this issue we are going to talk about jump
starting your online marketing campaign for greater
    success.

In the internet age, having an online marketing campaign should
be one of your top priorities. That's a broad, sweeping statement,
    but it's a broad sweeping truth. I don't care if you're a Fortune 500
company or the owner of auto shop in Podunk, Wisconsin, you
need to be online, and you need to have an online marketing
    campaign.

The days when you could get by without having an internet
presence might not be dead, but they're definitely circling the
drain. Virtually everyone has a cell phone these days, what we still
refer to as a cell phone is really a mobile connection to the
internet. People are constantly connected, and people are
constantly using this connection to find the place and things they
    want to find.

If you don't have an online marketing campaign in place, you are
not going to be there to find. If you aren't there to find, you are
going to watch your business eventually dry and blow away. You
need to be online, and you need be online with a strategy in place.
I'm going to show you how to create a simple, effective and
    inexpensive online marketing campaign.

The very first step is to make sure that you have a nice,
professional looking website. You'd be shocked at how many
businesses pay good money to put cheap looking websites on
line. Good, attractive design is important, and it won't cost you
extra. It should also be consistent with the look of your business in
general, including stationery and business cards.

The next step is to make sure that your website is search engine
optimized. This is a big subject, but the basic idea is make sure
that your site makes it as easy as possible for the search engines
to put you at the beginning of their results for the keywords that
your customers will be using. You can have a beautiful website
and an excellent business, but without search engine optimization,
    you won't get anywhere.

The next step in a good online marketing campaign is to make
sure your website is capturing potential customer's email
addresses. You'll need to set up an autoresponder service to
make use of this, but they're cheap and easy to use. Just make
sure you offer your customers some reason to give their email
addresses. It may not be using money, but it is still a transaction,
and you need to give good value.

This allows you to interact with customers and give them multiple
chances to buy from you, in addition to keeping your business in
their minds. The next time they want what you offer, you're going to
be the first person they think.

Once you have all that in place, you can experiment with using
online advertising. There are lots of ways to this, from banner
advertising, which is generally ineffective, to sponsoring a blog or
website, which can be expensive, to pay per click, which is usually
the best place to start. Pay per click puts a small ad related to
whatever a person searching for next to their search engine
results. You see this every time you use Google. You can use this
to get visitors to your site, and if you have followed the above
    steps, turning them into customers.

There you go; you should be well on your way to you first online
marketing campaign. These techniques are simple, but they can
explode your business and put money in your pocket. Don't wait to
get started, because your competition might already be working
    on it.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about finding an internet marketing expert that you can trust to
    teach you.

    See you soon,

Writing Articles as an Affordable Internet Marketing Method

    Hi Nichers,

From Overture, a keyword suggestion tool, you will see the
millions of searches done to a certain keyword. When these
keywords are typed on search boxes of search engines,
indexed websites containing articles with those keywords
will be displayed. And this is what leads traffic to
websites with keyword-rich articles. Yes, the magic word is
    articles.

Content is king. You can say that again. That is why
writing articles is one of the most utilized Internet
marketing media today. Internet surfers just can't get
enough of information on various fields. Providing
information through these articles is a surefire way to
drive hot traffic to your web site.

Why is this so? Here are the benefits that writing articles
    can give your Internet business.

    1. It's absolutely free.

Too good to be true? Not. Okay, you have to pay for your
Internet Service Provider. That's it. All you need is your
thoughts, your computer, and your hands. If you have those,
nothing will stop you from typing words that will make you
complete that article for your website. On which aspect of
that process did you really shell out any cent? Maybe later
    when your electric bills come.

    2. Your website will be noticed in a short period of time.

Submit that article of yours to article directories that
get the most web traffic and in no time your web site will
be crawled. That is if you don't forget including your
    resource box or byline.

    3. Obtain back links automatically.

When you submit your articles to directories, surely, other
websites will make use of your article too. With the
copyright terms of your articles, the URL of your website
will still be in tact and will subsequently direct more
    traffic to your website.

    4. Improve your reputation.

As an Internet marketer, if you plainly display your
products on your website, you will not gain much conversion
rate. Conversion is when your traffic converts to sales.
You have to show that you are knowledgeable on your field.
And what better way to show that than by writing articles
that will allow you some bragging rights, right?

Just make your creative juices flow and jot down or key in
those ideas quickly to jumpstart your article writing
momentum. With those benefits listed above, a writer's
block is the last problem you will ever be able to
    surmount.

Whatever your goals are, the two most important things are
that you start to get involved, and (more importantly) that
    you do it right.

It's a game that you must start playing right now, but,
before you do, you must know exactly what it is that you
    need to do to win.

    Yours in profits,

How to build your own system for financial freedom

    Hi Isyaias,

Welcome back to the Internet Marketing For You Newsletter!

In the last issue we talked about using a good internet marketing
plan for your business. In this issue we are going to go over some
of the steps need to build your own system for financial freedom.

Every entrepreneur knows that setting goals is crucial to business
success. If you don't know where you're going, how will you know
when you've arrived? Or, more importantly, when you're heading in
    completely the wrong direction?

If you're the owner of a small business, what is your goal?

To make it to the end of the month with enough money in the bank
    to cover the bills?

To take a vacation for the first time in five years?

Every small business owner should have the same goal - sooner
or later, to become independent of the business. Small
businesses turn into big businesses only when they are able to
operate smoothly without the owner being present. When you can
stay away for a week, or a month, or a year, and return to find the
business running better than before you left, you have the
opportunity to do whatever you like - sell the business and start a
new one, retire, buy a yacht and sail around the world.

True financial independence is the ability to live your life doing
what YOU want to do. Do you really want to show up for work an
hour early every day, leave late at night and never take a holiday,
for the rest of your life? Surely not.

What is the key to being able to walk away?

It's simple. You need a system in place so that everyone in your
business knows exactly what's expected of them.

When you take on a new employee, how do they learn what they're
expected to do? Does an existing employee take them in charge,
explaining how things work? How can you be sure that the new
employee is learning what you want them to know?

As the owner of the business, it's your job to ensure that a system
is put in place as the business grows. The system will ensure that
everyone knows what they need to know to do their job effectively.

How do you think companies like McDonald's are able to manage
thousands of restaurants across the planet? McDonald's Head
Office doesn't sell hamburgers. They sell franchises, and their
customers are the franchisees. The most valuable asset they have
is their system. It regulates what employees wear, the words they
say to customers, how many seconds a patty is left on the grill. to
variables within their business, every contingency is dictated by
    the system.

The system makes it possible for new employees to fit in. They
are educated on 'how we do things around here'. They are taught
the specifics of their job. They may be required to sign a
    performance agreement.

In a well-designed system, there is still space for individual
creativity. Better ways of doing things should always be sought out
and encouraged - and written into the system for the future.

The system provides the framework for ensuring that the business
is never entirely dependent on any one person. If you own the
business, your future depends on the quality of your system.

Make sure you look for your next issue soon. We will be talking
about some simple tips for starting a successful home based
    business.

17 Marketing Tactics For Your Blog!

    Hi Isyaias,

Installing a new WordPress blog on your
site won't do much unless you take
    active steps to promote it.

Below are 17 ideas to help you get
started. Combining at least eight to
nine of these as a basis for your first
marketing effort will help you get
ahead and start promoting your blog
with much higher chances of success,

    1. Post high quality content on a
    regular basis

If you are providing news on your site,
average post amounts range from 3-5
posts per day. Make the most of your
postings by only posting unique and
high quality content. If you are
looking to entertain or engage readers,
aim for at least one posting per day.

    2. Enable automatic trackbacks and
    pinging

Pings are a valuable way to notify
search engines that your blog has been
    updated. Increase the chances of
    sharing blog content by enabling
    trackbacks on your blog.

    3. Make sure all posts are formatted
    and archived correctly

When you first start out, it can be
helpful to leave this as a future
project until you have developed some
solid content. After that, take the
time to sort through your content and
make sure it is placed in the
appropriate category. Also keep in mind
that categories need to be based on
keywords; you can gain a significant
advantage with the search engines when
    you include high-ranking keywords on
    your category section.

    4. Develop your own link building
    campaign

    Whether this involves contacting other
    bloggers, responding to comments and
providing linkbacks, or simply making a
'call out' for links as you post, make
sure you are keeping track of results
and try a variety of strategies.

    5. Make sure your blog is optimized

    Template optimization involves the
    URLS, RSS subscription buttons, and
    title tags are embedded appropriately.
While most blogging platforms can help
you do this automatically, you will
need to pay attention to these areas on
    an ongoing basis.

    6. Submit any podcasts and media files
    to the appropriate directories

If you do start developing podcasts for
your blog, make sure you are submitting
    them to the appropriate directories.
Most are free, and can help you gain
even higher rankings on the search
    engines.

    7. Comment on other blogs to develop
    expertise

Researching is just as important as
writing for your blog, and you can
search other blogs relevant to your
    industry and start commenting
appropriately. Keep in mind the rules
of the forum or group, and make sure
your posts are relevant to the
    discussion. Always remember that your
credibility is an important part of
this, so be resourceful and post
    accordingly.

    8. Develop a glossary section

    This is an often-overlooked opportunity
    for increasing search engine rankings,
and can be a valuable resource section
for your readers as well. A glossary
can be as simple as keywords with
definitions, and you can also start
    inter-linking the definitions to actual
    posts within your blog.

    9. Customize your blog and design it
    with your logo in mind

Even if you aren't launching with an
exact replica of your website colors,
choose something similar that will be
    attractive to your readers. Customized
designs and templates are the best way
to make a valuable first impression,
but you may choose to wait until a
    later date.

    10. Setup a Google sitemap

Google sitemaps are designed to capture
the key elements of your blog and
validate them for search engines. This
is one valuable step toward web
    optimization, and can significantly
    impact search engine rankings.

    11. Identify a list of authoritative
    blogs and other web sites

Even if you are not using these on your
    blogroll or link exchange program,
    knowing where to consult information
can help you develop content on a
    regular basis. Create a comprehensive
list of at least 15-20 sites that can
help you post unique and relevant
    content.

    12. Make use of statistics

Statistics will help you track results
and easily see fluctuations in visitor
    traffic. Most blog platforms are
    equipped with statistical analysis
programs, and you can watch trends and
    patterns daily.

    13. Promote yourself on social
    networking platforms

    These are essential for gaining
    exposure and a strong presence
alongside your target market, and you
    can join different groups and
communities very easily. Setting up the
right profile will take some strategy
(see Chapter 7), but is an important
    element of building your social
    community presence.

    14. Submit links to social bookmarking
    sites

This is a very effective way to promote
individual pieces of content. As soon
as you have created a URL of your
submission, that link can be promoted
    across multiple channels and networks
in just a few steps. Try submitting to
the major social bookmarking sites such
    as Technorati, Digg, and StumbleUpon
    for increased exposure on highly
    valuable topics and content. Even
interacting on these networks can help
you learn what types of content and
topics your audience may be looking
    for.

    15. Position yourself as an authority

    Consult valuable resources and give
appropriate credit on your blog. This
is not only helpful for your readers,
but can help you establish yourself as
    an expert within your field.

    16. Focus on building credibility

    You can build credibility by
    communicating directly with other
bloggers in the industry; establish a
    guest blogging opportunity for other
    bloggers to participate, and encourage
them to market their contributions in
    the process.

    17. Make contact with bloggers offline
    as well

You can still build credibility and
enjoy networking in the offline world,
and attract some new visitors the
    'traditional' way.

    Take care,

    Mel****

3 Fast and Free Money Making Ideas

    Hello Isyaias.

Shawna here with a great article.

    Read on and enjoy!

When most of us decide that working for someone else stinks and we start our internet marketing career we do it with very little start up money. I started out that way and it is for those of you who are doing likewise that I have written this article.

If you want to get started working from home there two things that you absolutely must understand. First, free money making ideas are not free. Every cent that you earn on the internet will cost you something. While it may not be actual cash that you must spend rest assured there is still an investment. That investment is your time.

Second, free money making ideas are not free. Does that sound like you have heard it somewhere before? In this case they are not free because even though I am giving them to you for free you may have to have a bit of cash to fully implement them.

Ok with that out of the way let's get on with our free money making ideas.

    1.) Blogging

I am ranking blogging as the top of the free money making ideas because it is probably the easiest thing in the world to do. All you have to do is go to one of the free blogging sites and set up a blog. Then add some revenue sources to it such as Google AdSense or affiliate products and you have your business started.

    2.) Affiliate Marketing

Selling products for others is a great way to get started earning cash online. It is quite simple to do as well. Join one of the big affiliate networks like Clickbank, Paydotcom, or Commission Junction and sell products for commission.

    3.) Freelance Work

The last of my free money making ideas is not only easy but fun. Put the talents that you have to use by doing freelance work. If you can write, program, code, transcribe, or perform a number of other skills you are in high demand online. All you have to do is join Elance, Rentacoder, or one of the other freelance sites and put your services up for hire.

Like I said earlier free money making ideas are not free. They require you to spend time and in some cases real money as well. I have given you 3 solid free money making ideas now it is up to you to put them into use.

    To your success,

What I Believe About ... Entrepreneurs

    Isyaias,

Some time ago my travels took me to the red soil of Nairobi, Kenya. A gracious schoolteacher named George ran a foster care program for AIDS orphans. He took me on a tour of his world.

How incredibly different it was from mine.

Someone had given George a Toyota station wagon, so we didn't have to walk. He drove me through twisting back-county roads of Kukoyu, dodging potholes the size of bathtubs and showing me how the other half lives.

We would pass bands of children walking along that road and women balancing jugs on their heads. I met all kinds of kids without moms and dads, mostly living with relatives and hopefully holding body and soul together.

I met one kid whose most recent home was a rock quarry.

We visited a wooden hut where a girl, maybe 9 years old, was playing in the dirt in her filthy pink dress. She was mentally handicapped and there was no one else around. George spoke kindly to her in her native language. He gave her something to eat. Eventually, we left.

As we drove away, I thought, "I'd never leave MY kid here. . ."

I met a 7 year old boy who was dying of AIDS for lack of a $1 bus ticket to get a free shot.

It was gut wrenching. All these people staring at me with that blank gaze of poverty and apathy. Paralyzed by a belief that there's nothing they can do to make their life better.

I asked George if he ever helped any of these people start businesses. "Yes!" he nodded excitedly. "I will show you some of our micro loan recipients."

George drives me to another village. We walk into a cobbler shop. A guy named Paul is fixing shoes. Paul had polio when he was a kid so he can't walk. His crutches are leaning against the wall behind him.

Paul does NOT have that blank hopeless stare. His eyes are clear. He's alert and he's aware. He's proud of what he does. His kids have uniforms, they attend school, they are well fed. He's a respected man in the community.

His legs might not work right, but he's not a cripple.

George explains to me that with a $50 business loan, Paul founded that cobbler shop and became an economic pillar of his community.

By American standards Paul is poor, but he's not living in poverty. Paul doesn't speak the same tongue as me yet when our eyes lock we both sense that we share a common language: The language of entrepreneurship. He's proud of what he's accomplished and he's not asking for handouts.

My friend, there is one and only one path out of poverty. It ain't UNICEF. Or the United Nations. It's not even jobs or technology.

It's entrepreneurship. It's brave people like Paul.

    NOW:

Imagine for a moment that someone had taken Paul's $50 and sold him a sham "business opportunity." Big bag o' smoke. Hit & run. Ain't worth the paper it's printed on.

How much would that scam have cost Paul . . . really?

For one thing he'd be a cripple living in a rock quarry today. Begging on the side of the street. Not a successful entrepreneur. Not a guy with a house and a kitchen and 3 beautiful kids.

His 3 kids would be living with who-knows-who, or maybe no one. Paul's cobbler shop wouldn't be there in the middle of his village. People wouldn't be getting their shoes fixed. A certain school would be minus 3 students. A seamstress would have sold them three less school uniforms. The vendors who sell him soles and nails and leather would have one less account.

His kids might be stealing food instead of buying it.

Do you see how these little tiny hinges swing big doors?

That's why it really frosts my cookie when snake oil salesmen and film flam men sell bad business advice. They're teaching people s*** that don't work.

Doesn't matter whether it's Africa or America or Antarctica, it's still a crime. I hope them scammers end up living in a rock quarry. They sure don't deserve to be making megabucks, that's for sure.

I got fleeced real good for the first few years of my business career. You probably know that story and if you don't I won't bore you with it. But anyway, I'm one of those people who believes things happen for a reason. Maybe one of the reasons that happened to me was . . . so I'd know what it's like.

Cuz God forbid that I ever sell people big bags o' smoke. Or that you should ever spend your money one of those bags o' smoke.

I believe that when someone teaches how to fish, they should teach you with real boats and real fishing poles and real ponds. Not with a flight simulator. They should be able to prove what they do works. In real market conditions with real tools and real customers. Not shills.

Every time someone sells fake business advice, the world loses a few entrepreneurs. People who might have made it, but they couldn't recover from that one loss.

Who knows... what might have been?

Every time someone delivers *real* business advice, the world gains a few entrepreneurs. More "Pauls". More cobbler shops. More kids going to school. More food to go around. More for everyone.

I take my job - and your job - very seriously. What we both do matters. A lot.

If you have any kind of "real" business on the Internet; if you know that more clicks for less money, better sales conversion, improved follow up and a superior marketing strategy would put more money in your pocket; then I invite you to apply for this fall's personal AdWords coaching session.

Not all are accepted, but if we let you in, I back it with a hugely ballsy guarantee and a promise that if you put in the effort, you'll get the results. www.BobsledRun.com. Starts September 28.

Whether you live in Africa, Europe or America - whether you only learn, or if you teach as well - I hope you take your teaching, and your learning, very seriously. Because a very very important entrepreneur depends on the knowledge you apply:

    YOU.

The 3 Keys to Internet Marketing Success

    Hey Isyaias.

Shawna here. Hope you're Friday is going great!

    Come on L-O-N-G weekend...

I've got a great article for you today.

    Read it and enjoy!

Building a successful business is not difficult as
long as you are sure to use 3 keys to success in
    your internet marketing plan.

Every internet marketer uses the 3 keys.

Some may use different tactics or methods to achieve
their goal but the 3 keys are still the same.

    1.) Traffic Generation

Face it, without traffic there is no business and a
comprehensive strategy should be part of your internet
    marketing plan.

There are a number of methods that can be used to
generate traffic including article marketing, ad
swaps, joint ventures, co-registration and pay per
click advertising just to name a few.

You should explore every advertising method that you
can think of in order to increase the flow of traffic
    to your website.

    2.) Build a Subscriber List

This should be considered a "no-brainer" but there are
people who put together their internet marketing plan
    with this left off.

Affiliate marketing may not require that you build a
list but if you do not then you are missing the real
    money on the internet.

    3.) Convert Subscribers to Customers

If one of the most important keys in any internet
marketing plan is to build a subscriber list then
it should go without saying that you must use that
    list to generate income.

Converting subscribers on your list to paying customers
is how money is made on the internet.

Sending messages to your list with useful content will
help you to build a relationship with the customer.

In time they will come to trust you and believe me that
    trust will turn into sales.

When putting together an internet marketing plan is use
these three keys to become successful.

    To your success,

3 Sure-Fire New Online Business Ideas That Work

    Hello Isyaias.

Shawna here. Hope you're day is going well.

Here's a great article for you.

    Enjoy!

A couple of decades back, it was considered
to be something difficult to make a living by
    starting a new business.

A lot of people wanted to do that so badly to
supplement their income or to make a living to
    survive.

It is a fact that just a couple of decades back,
there were not many opportunities for the people
who wanted to work from home or who wanted to
have their own business, as compared to the
number of opportunities which present themselves
    to the people nowadays.

The best and least risky way of making money
through an online business would be to sell
    your services.

Create a list of services that you can sell.

If for example, you are good at social networking,
you can find various jobs related to the same
    field.

If on the other hand, you are a web designer,
you will find lots of work opportunities.

Create your portfolio carefully and be professional.

This will for sure help you in making some money
    through your online business.

Sell a product. Create a new product with a well
    defined niche market.

Once you have the product ready, promote it online.

You can sell it through affiliate marketing.

You can promote your product through sales pages or
    through PRs.

There are so many ways of promoting your products.

Successful promotion will lead to many sales.

If you are expert on any subject, sell your ideas.

If you know a subject well and your resume is
strong enough for people to believe in your ideas,
sell your ideas and discussions about the subject.

This is one of the ways which you can use to make
money online through your own business.

Off course all three of these methods demand your
    devotion and hard work.

Without your hard work you will never be able to
    achieve any success.

    To your success,

The 3 Reasons 99% of Marketers Fail

    Hi Isyaias

I hope you're doing great today.

You may remember yesterday I shared
with you how I got 2 of my websites

so much steady traffic they're ranking
in the TOP 1% of all websites on the internet...in the

    entire world!

Well, when I got to thinking about why it's important, you

    probably realize
it's just as necessary to discover why

the other 99% of those 400,000,000+ websites have failed

to get as much traffic as those in the Top 1%.

See, I believe in seeing the whole picture
so you can do what's right and avoid what's wrong too.

This way, you can go for the gold
full steam ahead and at the same time,

avoid mistakes by knowing what "Red Flags"
and land mines to watch out for.

Here are what my tracking and tests have revealed to me

    are

"The 3 Reasons 99% of Marketers Fail" to Get as Much

Website Traffic with their Traffic System:

Reason #1: Their traffic system is too hard to understand

    in its entirety.

See, it's one thing to understand all the pieces of the

    traffic system by themselves.

Usually it's not too difficult to do that.

But when it comes time to see the
    "Whole Picture", most marketers struggle
to see how it all fits together in a way

it's easy to understand and stay on top every step of the

way without too much brain sweat.

So it's important your traffic system be easy to

    understand in its entirety.

That's one of the things you're going to LOVE when you get

    the Super Traffic Rush system.

It's easy to understand  in its entirety!

Reason #2: "It's Too Difficult to Use"

Let's face it, most marketers traffic systems are so

complicated they're hard to grasp and use on a daily

    basis.

The actual rubber meets road implementation requires lots

    of time,
lots of work and constant follow up.

It's no wonder so many marketers struggle
and get so frustrated trying to get traffic the slow, long

    and hard way.

Their system for trying to get traffic is just too hard to

    use on a daily basis
to make it work for them.

(If you hadn't heard already, Isyaias, the entire
Super Traffic Rush system only takes

28 minutes to set up so that's just one of the reasons why

    so many marketers will

love finally getting meaningful results with a system you

can depend on to be easy to use for a change!

Make sure you're one of the ones who put Super Traffic

Rush to work for you so you have the advantage fewer than

    1% ever will!)

Reason #3: "They don't get enough IMMEDIATE RESULTS"

    Let's face it.

If you're a farmer, it can be a long wait after putting

seeds in the ground before you get crops ready to harvest.

But you're not farming, you're marketing!

(If you're selling or hoping to sell anything, that means

    you're marketing.)

You shouldn't have to wait until "harvest season" before

you can finally see some results.

No wonder so many marketers give up and get frustrated

    with their traffic systems.

They do so much work and spend so much time and money

before they ever get the results they NEED!

And that's the 3rd reason 99% of marketers fail to get

profitable results with their traffic systems.

But you don't have to fail just because they do.

The great thing you'll discover about using the Super

    Traffic Rush system,

is you get immediate and ongoing results
    quickly!

Yes, you get more results the more you use it and

    thelonger you use it,

--but you also get quick results too!

So with little effort you get quick results.

Sounds kind of refreshing doesn't it?

    It IS Isyaias! :)

these 3 Best-Kept Secrets to succeeding
with your traffic system here now:

There Is Just ONE Thing Stopping You

    Hey Isyaias,

It's Michael Rasmussen and before I head
out for the weekend, I want to share with
you an email that I believe every single
person trying to make a living on the
    Internet needs to read.

There are lots of product launches going on
right now in the IM world, so in this
email...I'm not going to talk about one of
    those!

Instead, I think you'll find this
refreshing. In any case, you'll definitely
learn a lesson you can take away from it
that will help you in the future.

Maybe you think it's impossible that ONE
    thing is stopping you.

Well, it probably is. I'll go further than
that. I think this one thing stops nearly
ALL aspiring Internet marketers dead in
    their tracks.

I bet you've heard that something like
ninety-five percent of new businesses fail.
That's offline or online. There are lots of
reasons for that in the offline world, but
in the online world, it really comes down
    to one thing.

    No focus.

Yes, that sounds too simple, but it's not.
It's actually kind of deep when you think
    about it.

Consider what you hear all the time on
marketing forums. You'll hear lots of
people say they're struggling to succeed,
and can't make anything work, and how they
    feel hopeless.

Look, I get it because I've been there.

I've told you before how hopeless I felt.
It seemed like I was drowning. It was
information overload, with zero success to
show for all the hard work.

I've been there, and I bet you have too.
    You might STILL be there.

Now consider what you read in sales letters
for products created by people who are now
    successful.

    There's a pattern.

They typically say something like this:

"I felt hopeless. I was all over the
place, trying everything. Nothing I did
worked. I was on the verge of giving
      up. And then..."

You know what comes next. They figured it
out. They came across something that
    worked, and now they're successful.

When most people read that, they focus on
the end of the story, when Mr. Marketer
found something that worked. What they miss
    is the most important part.

They miss that the REAL reason the marketer
succeeded isn't that he finally found
something that worked. It's that he finally
focused on one thing long enough to see it
    work.

    That's the key. Focus wins.

I'm not saying everything will eventually
work. And I'm not saying you need to stick
with something that's obviously NOT working
and probably never will. That wouldn't be
    smart.

But most people give up on something long
before they've proven it won't work. And
they probably quit when they were on the
    verge of breaking through.

Here is the plan I ALWAYS recommend to
people who want to succeed in the long run:

    1) Research markets until you find one full
of people currently buying like crazy. I'm
not suggesting you go into digital
photography or weight loss (they're very
competitive), but that's what I mean by
markets where people are buying like mad.

    2) Make ONE simple, inexpensive offer to
target that market with. It could be a
short PDF report, or a video, or an audio
you record with Audacity or some other free
tool. Doesn't matter what it is, just make
it inexpensive. I'd say $27 or less.

    3) Focus all of your efforts on driving
traffic to that ONE product until you see a
profit, or you figure out with some
confidence you probably won't ever see one.

    That's the strategy.

There are other ways to profit online, like
    affiliate marketing. There's nothing wrong
with those. Some might even work faster.

But if you want to succeed in the long run,
you need to learn what following that
simple plan will teach you. So start there!

Think of a simple example. Let's say you
create a small, inexpensive product in a
particular niche, maybe exercise for people
    over 40 years old.

If you focus on that for a month or two,
there's no reason you can't take that
business from $0 to $500 per day. I'm not
saying it'll be easy, but all it takes is
consistent effort and not giving up.

I KNOW that works because I've done it many
times in my career in niches I initially
    knew zero about.

When you do it, you'll start building some
momentum. You'll have some cash coming in,
you'll be learning what you need to learn,
and you can build on what you started
without jumping to something else "hot" that
you aren't sure will make you an income.

I know you need to pay your bills. I know
you want to leave a job you hate. I know
you're desperate to make your life better.

That's what everyone wants, and I know of
only one way to get it. You have to focus
your efforts and see things through to a
    profitable place.

That's not flashy or glamorous, but it's
    the truth.

You don't need to have an arsenal or
products, or a lots of expensive tools. You
can have ONE product and ONE website.

It's not "hard" to do this, but it does
take some focus. If you can develop that,
you're bound to succeed, probably sooner
    than you thought.

I hope this information helps you.

    All the best,

    Michael Rasmussen

Can A Listbuilding System Be TOTALLY Automated?

Can A Listbuilding System Be TOTALLY Automated?

I know we're all a bit sick and tired of promises of "automated software" that will make us rich before dinner.

And I'm always the first to be skeptical of these kinds of outrageous claims.

But today I may have to actually eat my words.

Because I just picked up a listbuildilng system that really is incredibly fast...,

And the traffic actually does keeps flow in on auto-pilot.

It's a pretty new tactic on the scene that I've heard of.

But I never really knew how to implement it.

    Then I found this:

At that link 7 figure marketer Bill McRea is  GIVING AWAY this listbuilding system totally free...

It's his way of getting some buzz going for his upcoming product launch (apparently he's go another system up his sleeve that's even better than this)

    In any case..

I went and got this myself and it's totally legit.

There's nothing scammy about it all.
It's just a way to instantly create a win-win offer that potential JV partners can't refuse.

Bill hand you EVERYTHING you need to make it work. And I mean EVERYTHING.

So if you know the power of having a mailing list..

Do yourself a favor and go get this.

    I mean...you can't beat the price, right?

P.S. There is one catch to this...you'll have to help spread the word. But that's easy for me because I've seen this strategy in action and know that it works.

    The Easiest Profit Model Online

    Hi there,

Do me a favor and read this entire email. I'm really trying to help
a few people with this and I'd appreciate your sincere attention for
    just a couple of minutes.

I'll make this quick and straightforward...

You are either someone with a profitable online business or you're
someone who sits in front of the computer all day for free. Excuses
aside, the simple bottom line is - you're either making money or
    you're not.

What's stopping you from putting an end to all this nonsense of
being online all day yet having nothing to show for it? I am
regularly APPALLED by the number of people I meet who tell me (often
with a sob and whimper) how they've been online for 2, 3, 5, even 7
YEARS and are still not earning!

This is absolutely outrageous and anyone in such a situation should
take a good, hard look in the mirror and ask just what the heck is
    going on here!

I've never in my life met a landscaper who says "Yeah I've been
mowing and planting for six years now but haven't made any money
    yet."

Nor have I ever come across a restaurant owner who tells me he's
been in the business for three years and has yet to make a single
    sale.

This utter nonsense of being "in business" for years without making
a dime simply does not happen in the real world of entrepreneurship.
Only in the play-pretend la-la land of fantasy business, i.e.
Internet marketing, do we find people who have spent years of their
life "trying" (term used sooo loosely here) and yet still don't have
a dollar to show for it.

If you're one of the people being described, and this email is
    ticking you off: GOOD!

I urge you to snap out of it and stop tolerating this absurd
situation. Yes, I know the self-proclaimed gurus will tell you it's
normal but this is because they want you to keep buying their
worthless crap for the next ten years.

Understand this: Virtually none of the "gurus" in the Internet
marketing world have *EVER* sold any kind of real products or
services to the consumer sector. Almost all of these guys and gals
are people who have positioned themselves to sucker gullible
opportunity seekers - they make money selling "how to market" style
products when they have never sold the first consumer item in a
    legitimate marketplace.

It's a sick joke, to put it nicely.

So here's where I'm going with all this: I want to show you a
tested, proven profit model that works very well *in any market or
niche*, whether you're selling physical goods or digital products.

I'm talking here about video coaching and vividly detailed
instruction. The only way to keep failing after you've worked with
me on this is to refuse to turn the TV off and just not try at all.

So PLEASE - if you're one of the people who has been doddling along
for *YEARS* with no profits yet I beg you to put an end to this
    insanity right now:

"Take from the Rich, give to the Poor" -- Us Poor!

    Hi Nichers,

One of the things you might think about when selecting a
niche, a product or a price point is, "How much does my
customer have to spend?" Never underestimate the fatness of
a wallet or depths of a purse. There are customers
dedicated to spending top dollar for luxury consumer goods.
There are businesses that need premium solutions to nagging
problems. In other words, there are rich buyers out there
that need to spend a lot of money. Make sure you don't
    neglect them!

This can be a hard lesson to learn, especially for the
person who wants to try Internet Marketing as a way to make
a few extra dollars every month. It's just beyond the
imagination of a person who's always running out of money
before running out of month! If you're broke, don't assume
that your best customers will be, too. Try thinking in
terms of having plenty of money and wanting to use it to
    get more leisure and luxury.

Perhaps the best place for a hard-working neophyte to start
making money online is to do all the really nasty, boring,
mind-numbing chores that a rich person doesn't want to do.
By offering products or services that automate chores or
allow you to directly serve someone's needs on a regular
basis, you can make a very good living. All you have to do
is list all the things you'd pay someone else to do, if
money was no problem. Then go see who's offering goods and
services like that online and figure out a way to do the
same, with your own Unique Selling Point.

Luxury goods are another way to really make a nice profit
on just a few sales. Designer sunglasses that sell for more
than a thousand dollars a pair are more attractive to sell
than more than 100 pairs of $10 sunglasses. You may think
that paying all that money just for sunglasses is crazy. So
what? Isn't it more important to think in terms of what
    your customer wants?

Now think about all the businesses out there that need
goods or services. They're making a profit, they have a
budget to spend - and you could be their "go to" source for
whatever they may need. All you have to do is identify the
really expensive things they use, use up and have to
replace. How hard can that be?

This "rich market" is a fairly small percentage, compared
to all the buyers online. The thing is, they spend almost
three times the percentage of money that regular consumers
spend. This segment is growing faster and faster, and is
hungry for more. It's up to you to put yourself in front of
this avalanche of money and get your share!

The idea here is to fix your thinking. If you think you
have a money problem, you're wrong. You have a thinking
problem when it comes to money. You might not be able to
imagine the kind of income you could earn if you just
allow yourself to envision big spenders as your customers.
    Try it, you'll like it!

Once you realize that nobody can see how broke you are,
because you're hidden behind a Web site, blog or
discussion forum identity, you'll start to loosen up and
treat these well-to-do people as if they are like everyone
else. You won't be afraid of them at all. You'll just give
them what they want and they'll send you lots and lots of
money! After all, you'll have made yourself valuable to
them. Isn't that worth thinking about, instead of how broke
    you are?

Working From Home? Do This? Don't Do That

    Hi Nichers,

Maybe you've reached your goal and you can finally work
from home, or maybe you're just inching closer to reaching
that goal. Whatever your case, you need to know that
working from home is a lot harder than you would think.
You will be battling distractions and a lack of structure.
You will also be constantly battling time, which seems to
go three times faster when you work from home.

So, here are some Dos and Dont's to help you if and when
    you are working from home.

    Do: Buy a laptop.

If you don't already have a laptop, get one. It's a tax
write-off and the freedom it will give you for when and
where you can work is a must.

Don't: Build a home office unless you can really afford it.

If you have the extra cash to build a home office then go
for it. But don't borrow any money to do it. While a home
office is great and may be a goal of yours, don't borrow
money to get it done. You'll just be adding debt at a time
when you need to be building your income.

Instead just set up your office in a spare bedroom, or find
any space in your house where it's semi-private and livable
including the basement or your garage. A couple hundred
bucks can dress-up either of those places.

    Do: Set a Schedule

This is especially important if you have a family at home
or anything else that might distract you.

Have a discussion with anyone else who lives with you and
let them know when you scheduled to work. Get them to agree
that they won't disturb you while you are working. Post
your hours of work on the refrigerator or in another area
    where everyone will see it.

Be sure to stick to your schedule just the same as you
would if you had a boss to answer to.

    Don't: Watch television

This is tempting to do - Put your laptop on your legs,
settle into your recliner, and flip on the television.
The television will distract you and make any project
you're working on take much longer than it should.

While you are working, avoid the television at all costs.

Do: Leave the house to work.

If you have too many distractions, get out of the house and
work at the local library or at a cafe. All you need is a
couple bucks for coffee and Wifi. That's it.

Also, though the idea of working from home is great, there
might be times when you feel like you are homebound and you
    just need to get out.

So whenever you get the opportunity, change your venue. It
will keep things fresh and make you happier.

Don't: Work in the middle of chaos.

It's a nice idea to work in the same room where your kids
are playing or where your family/friends are hanging out.
But it just won't work, mainly because you won't work.

Be sure to always separate yourself from everyone else in
the house. If you can't do that then leave the house.

So there are three very important Dos and Dont's for you to
follow. Follow these and you are well on your way to
achieving success while you work from home.

See you again tomorrow with a whole new NicheADay.

    Are You Making These Mistakes?

    Hey Isyaias,

It's Michael Rasmussen here with an email
I REALLY wish someone had sent me years ago,
back when I was just getting started in
    Internet marketing.

You see, back then I didn't know anything.
I felt overwhelmed all the time. I spent
MANY nights discouraged and frustrated. And
yes, I made all of the "newbie" mistakes
    you can imagine.

    While I wouldn't say I've arrived, or I
have nothing left to learn (not by a long
shot, believe me), I HAVE learned some
valuable lessons about mistakes to avoid.

In this email, I'm going to give you what
I think are the top seven mistakes new
    Internet marketers make.

When I was making these mistakes, I
struggled. Now that I've put them behind
me, things are going great. Here's
    what I mean:

    * My business is humming along just fine,
    even with the recession.

    * I've worked with most of the top Internet
marketers on various projects. Gosh, I have
almost all of their phone numbers on my
    cell phone!

    * My business has DOUBLED every year for
    the past three years running.

    * July has been amazing, one of my BEST
    months ever!

But NONE of that would be possible if I kept
on making the mistakes I'm going to tell you
    about.

So let me tell you what those are, and how
    to avoid them.

    ------------------------
    Mistake #1: Poor Planning
    ------------------------

I could just as easily say NO planning,
because most new marketers don't do any
    at all.

Without a plan, they get distracted by just
about every "new" thing that comes along.
They jump into "hot" markets and niches
without doing any research. When they get
crushed, they're shocked and angry. I was
guilty of that, and found out I was in a
bunch of niches where people only wanted
    to learn and not buy.

Let me tell you, as the old saying goes,
if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

The simple way to avoid this problem is
    to...PLAN!

You don't need the world's best plan. You
just need a reasonable one YOU can execute.
My plan isn't yours, and yours isn't mine.

    Here's what I recommend doing:

    1) Pick a market you want to target.
Research it. Use Google until you're sick of
it. Find a market full of people who are
    BUYING right now.

    2) Choose a business model you'll use to
target them. You can start with affiliate
marketing, or create a membership site, or
create a simple product you'll sell with a
Minisite, or something else. There's no one
right or wrong answer. Just pick ONE.

    3) Create a single, simple, relatively
low-cost offer to target your market.
Doesn't have to be fancy. It just has to
    be real.

    4) Focus on that ONE product in that ONE
market until you turn a profit, or determine
with confidence that you can't make a profit
    there.

    That's it.

You don't need to spend big bucks on every
huge launch that comes along so you can get
the "missing link." You just need to stick
to a simple plan that will get you results.
Then you can grow from there.

Remember, it's better to have fewer sites
that are VERY profitable, than to have a
bunch of sites that make nothing. Planning
and doing helps you get there.

    ------------------------
    Mistake #2: Wasting Time
    ------------------------

Closely related to that first mistake is
    wasting time.

Internet marketing is FULL of time wasters.
If you don't have a plan, you'll find
    yourself wasting lots of time.

Most new marketers are very active, but
they're NOT taking the action they need
    to take.

They buy domains, make lots of sites, grab
graphics and PLR offers...and they don't
    sell anything.

I did all of that myself, and the only way I
ever succeeded was to STOP. You need to
    start selling something, monitor the
results, learn and get better at generating
    profits.

And here's something lots of people do
(including me, back in the day) that sounds
    good, but really isn't...learning.

You'll always learn. I learn about my
business every single day. But if you get
stuck in the learning rut, you'll find
yourself taking (and buying) course after
course with NOTHING to show for it.

One of the ways people think they're
learning is by spending hours in marketing
forums. Forums aren't bad, but does spending
time there fit your plan? If not, why are
    you there?

You have to be confident that you're not
    "missing" something when you're not
    there...because you're following YOUR plan.

I suggest that you block out some time every
day to spend on your business. Don't do
anything in that time that isn't
specifically planned for, and helping you
take REAL action toward generating the
profits you want to generate. That will keep
    you focused.

    ------------------------
Mistake #3: Spending With No Return
    ------------------------

    This is a big one.

I can remember years ago spending massive
amounts of money on pay per click (PPC)
advertising. And I spent a ton on software
    tools, too.

Look, those things can be helpful, but they
also can be a money pit. I've wasted a ton
of cash, and I bet you have as well.

You should adopt a simple rule for
    yourself...

Anything you spend should be planned
(there's that word again), and you should
only spend if your likelihood of making a
    good return is going up.

For example, if you throw some money at PPC
ads, and you get poor results, that's not
necessarily bad. It's only bad if you did it
just hoping it would go well. No, you should
have planned your traffic experiment, and
put limits on how much you would spend.

If you do the experiment and you learned
something that you think will get better
results, you can spend some more to find
out. But if you don't have a plan for it, do
    NOT spend any more.

Same goes for software and other tools. Ask
yourself if you really NEED it. If you're
just buying it because you hope it'll make
the light bulb go on, keep your money in
    your pocket.

Here's a good way to keep yourself on the
    right path...

If you haven't turned a profit yet with your
latest marketing exercise, refuse to spend
any cash on anything else until you DO turn
    a profit.

    ------------------------
Mistake #4: Not Building A List
    ------------------------

I often wish I could turn back time to when
I was just getting started and correct what
might be the biggest mistake I ever made --
    not building a list.

My affiliate marketing efforts were actually
paying off, but I wasn't capturing the email
addresses of my visitors. That meant I was
getting cash from them once, and then I had
to do the hard work of getting a new
    visitor! Not smart.

Remember, a list is what will make you
successful. It gives you opportunities to
sell, a group of people to send test offers
to so you can learn what converts, and more.

Without a list, you're really hurting
    yourself.

Fortunately, this is easy to fix by
    following a simple guideline...

NEVER put up a website that doesn't have a
way for something to give you an email
address. In fact, I suggest that you ALWAYS
directly ask for one, or even force somebody
to give you one if he wants your offer.

This is easier to do than you might think.

Let's say you're selling a product, like an
ebook. Simply create a free offer (maybe a
very short report on the ebook's topic) and
tell people you'll give it to them at no
cost if they'll just give you an email
    address to send it to.

You can put that invitation prominently on
the sales page for your product, or even on
a squeeze page in front of your sales page.

That will build your list, which will build
    your business over time.

    And one more thing...use a third-party
autoresponder. Never host your own scripts
    on your own web server.

You can often get autoresponder scripts for
very low cost, and you might think you're
saving a ton over signing up for a service
that charges you a mothly fee. But you're
not. I wasted SO much time struggling with
script issues, getting poor delivery rates,
and being blacklisted by ISPs. It's
    definitely NOT worth it.

A third-party service might seem to cost
more, but it's actually a bargain when you
consider the advantages it gives you. It
also helps you focus on doing what you need
to be doing, not struggling with technology.

    ------------------------
    Mistake #5: Chasing Bad Traffic
    ------------------------

Not all traffic is good. I had to learn that
    lesson the hard way.

I won't beat this point to death, but let me
say if you're spending time on safe lists
and traffic exchanges, DON'T. Those things
are a waste of time and money. They simply
    don't work.

    Good traffic is high-quality, targeted
likely buyers. Bad traffic is everything
    else.

Safe lists, traffic exchanges, and other
gimmicks can build a list quickly, but the
list won't do anything. You'll end up with a
few thousand subscribers (at most) who sit
there and never buy because they are trying
    to sell to YOU.

What you should be doing instead is going
    after targeted visitors from reliable
    traffic sources like this:

    * Keyword targeted articles on popular
    article directory sites

    * IM-friendly social networking sites that
can help you build a loyal following (like
    Twitter and Facebook)

    * Other Web 2.0 sites that can give you
great free traffic from search engines (like
    Squidoo)

    * SMART PPC advertising, where you do great
research first, and then split test your ads
and offers until you know what works

    * Relationships that can bring you "warm"
traffic that's eager to buy what you sell
(more on this one in a minute)

When I was just starting, I wasted literally
years on bad traffic. Now I spend ALL of my
time on joint venture partnerships, solid
article marketing, well researched PPC ads,
and a few other techniques that reliably
    bring me great traffic.

    That's what you should do.

    ------------------------
    Mistake #6: Neglecting Relationships
    ------------------------

Relationships are the backbone of my
business. I wouldn't be where I am today
    without them.

In the beginning, I stuck to myself and
didn't do as much networking as I should
have done. You know, I'm still very private
    about my business. :)

But I learned that I needed to be a lot more
open to establish relationships with people.
Now I talk on the phone, chat, and regularly
keep in touch with many of the top gurus.
Some have become VERY close friends.

This is what Stephen Covey talks about as
    the balance between Production and
    Production Capacity.

Working heads-down on your business is good
    sometimes. That's production.

But relationships are where the big profits
are, and where the big opportunities are.
That's future production capacity, and it's
why I'm where I am today.

I mentioned before that my business has
doubled every year for the past three years.
    Relationships did that.

So go out and meet people! When you're in
forums (because you PLANNED to be), get to
know fellow marketers. Attend live events.
Offer to work with folks. That's how your
    business will succeed.

    ------------------------
Mistake #7: Not Seeing Things Through
    ------------------------

People quit too soon. Success takes
    perseverance.

When I first started, I felt like quitting
almost every day. But I didn't. Now I can
look back on it and think how crazy it would
have been for me to give up.

You're probably not all the way to success
yet, so you can't relate to what it feels
    like. That doesn't matter.

Here's what you need to do...

Refuse to quit, no matter what, until you
make your first sale on the Internet without
    spending yourself into debt.

avoid each of those mistakes. And now you
have to TAKE my advice and plan how you'll
avoid these mistakes in your own business

Video - The Most Fun Medium of Marketing!

Easy Video Producer Take a look around the internet today and one thing you'll see more of is videos.More and more, even the 'gurus' are making use of this medium to advertise their products and services.
Do you doubt me on that?
If so, think about the last big launch?
Who was the guru and what did he say?
No, I don't mean what did he write, I mean what did he 'say'.
Because, invariably, every single launch that's happened over the past few months not only had an element of video in its sales letter……in most cases, the video IS the sales letter.Yes, you may see a page with writing on it, but count the number of words.
Chances are, you could actually count the words in a matter of seconds. Before video I couldn't imagine anyone would want to even attempt to count the words –the sales letters for big launches are way too long. And let's face it, when it comes to high ticket, expensive products, the sales pitch has got be substantial as most people want to know as much as possible about a product before they splash out that amount of money.
The good thing with video is now you can write a sales pitch as long as you want, and people will most likely site there and watch it… especially if the delivery is entertaining. Now tell me, when was the last time you found a written sales letter entertaining?
I mean, yes, sometimes they are but, for the most part, you can't afford to use humour in the written sales letter.

Video opens up avenues which were never available before to any business.Or, for that matter, any individual just wanting to get his or her diary online in video form.Sure, you could upload a video to YouTube or one of the multitudes of video sites, but not
everyone wants to stick their videos on a public forum that size. There may be certain types of videos available only to your clients – would you want everyone to see them.

Heck, I know of one martial artist who sticks videos on YouTube which are only supposed to be for his paid members. You can't get to them through his site, but all you have to do is go to YouTube and type in his name and, hey presto, there they are.

Now, if you're one of those people who want to keep their videos on individual sites, what happens if you're not a techie.Well, if you're anything like me, you'll go through a whole load of trial and error.Sure, you'll probably get the video onto your site, as I did, but it could take a whole day… as it did me.

Now, what if you had a facility to put your videos only on your site? And, what if that facility was so easy to use, it literally takes a few minutes to record, edit and upload?

Well, that facility is here, and I've used it. If only I had this a couple of years ago - it would have made my life a whole lot easier.
    What is this new facility?
    Easy Video Producer.
I'm not going to tell you how amazing it is or how much easier it has made my life or anything like that.
However, if I did, it would be true.

The good thing is, it's available for nothing.Yup, absolutely free.

    Two Tales of Negative Keywords

    Isyaias,

Today, a tale of two clients and their Negative Keywords. A story of success and failure, and the reason why....

    Client #1:

Terrence spends $70,000 a month on AdWords (quite profitably, I might add) and one day last month his webmaster printed out the web stats that show all the different searches that actually brought people to his website.

He spent some time combing through the list and made a huge list of negative keywords.

The next month his sales stayed exactly the same and his spend dropped to $40,000 a month. 40% down, overnight.

Hey, it doesn't matter whether you're spending $70,000 or just $70 per month, a 40% cost reduction is a big deal! This guy was already dominating his market... and now he's unstoppable.

    Client #2:

William spends $9,000 a month on AdWords, also quite profitably, thank you very much. He did pretty much the same thing - a big exhaustive list of negative keywords - and he dropped his spend down to $6,000.

But his sales dropped even MORE than that. 33% cost savings, and maybe 40% dent in sales. Oops... better get rid of those negative keywords.

OK.... so what was going on?

Here's the difference: Terrence, who saved a ton of dough, identified a number of completely different itches that people want to scratch, with very similar keywords. Identify the negative keywords because THOSE people ain't NEVER gonna buy.

William's product has very broad appeal in a market where potential buyers could come from almost anywhere. They could even come from outside the niche and still be interested. William needs to buy as much traffic as he can reasonably get and not really worry too much about the negative keywords - actually only a few.

Situations where negative keywords stop wasted clicks - very common. Everybody should have negative keywords. Situations where negative keywords hurt - less common. But it happens. When you make major changes, pay close attention and be ready to back off if the strategy isn't working.

    To your success,

    Perry Marshall
