The Basic Steps To Online Business

Getting started online should not be a difficult thing.
Judging by the price of some of the manuals on how to do
it, you would think that it is. But getting started online
involves a few basic steps that are easy to do.

Once you are up and running online, you can make changes
and adjustments for as long as you want. But if you are
just sitting around hoping to get it all figured out before
you jump into it, you will be sitting for a long time.

Many people make money the first day or certainly the first
month online. I did. I can start a new campaign today and
make money this week. I can mail an email today and have
money tonight.

So how do you do it?

If you have never done anything online, you must start
simple.

You need:

1) A web site

2) A topic

3) An autoresponder

4) A product to recommend (yours or an affiliate product)

That is all you need to get started.

To get a web site, find a hosting company that offers a web
site builder, unless you know Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Go
to the web site hosting site you choose, follow the
directions, and in a few hours you should have your own
domain name and a web site.

The web site builder will come with step by step
directions--simply follow the directions.

You must decide what you want to excel in online. What do
you know a lot about? This may take some brainstorming, but
most people have at least one thing they do better than
many others. Find it and do it.

You must get an autoresponder so you can automate
everything you do, or you will become attached at the hip
to your computer. You do not want that.

If you have already created a product, great, write a sales
page and get started selling. If not, go to clickbank and
find somebody else's product to promote.

Go get started. You will never succeed if you do not get
started. Of course you might fail. Maybe that is what it
is. You are afraid to fail. Then you are afraid to succeed.
Just get started.

Say Goodbye to Time-Wasters

Hi Nichers,

The true measure of success may be how much time you spend
doing exactly what you want. Never mind the money, if you
already have enough. How much of your time is spent doing
that which either aggravates you or wastes your time? Even
the very rich can find themselves caught up in stressful
situations that cry out for a solution. Most of the time,
eliminating them altogether is the best strategy.

The problem is one of habits. If you've always done things
a certain way, you may be creating a problem that can be
solved by a change in thinking, followed by a change in
acting. Are you checking your email more than 5 times a
day? More than 50? Why? Consider checking email twice a
day, at the most. If you warn people that you only check
email twice a day, you may find that those who depend on
you to respond immediately change how they behave towards
you.

Another consideration is negative influences. You may have
a majority of customers that are a pleasure to deal with,
and a few that are nasty, negative and chew up most of your
time. Consider firing the troublemakers. That will make
room for more good customers and make sure your attitude
isn't negatively affected by dealing with people who
delight in making you miserable.

Cut yourself off from the "news". Television and newspapers
seldom serve up news that is actionable by you. When was
the last time a public official or government agency
contacted you regarding your take on the latest news
bulletin? For that matter, when was the last time you
missed something important in life that you didn't hear
about from a friend or neighbor? If the world is about to
blow up, I guarantee you'll find out about it without
resorting to the media. Eliminate daily news briefings. You
don't need the negative influence in your life.

Try outsourcing your chores. If you've automated your
business so you can spend more time on yard work,
housecleaning or maintenance, stop and think! How much will
it cost you to pay someone to mop your floors, mow your
lawn and clean your rain gutters? Unless you are a seasoned
professional at such labor, you'll probably get a better
result than if you keep doing it yourself. Even if you are
a seasoned professional at such labor, isn't the reason you
got into IM precisely to free yourself from daily drudgery?

Learn how to shut your mind tightly against negative
thinking and the negative influence of other people. You
can begin by practicing meditation, where you stop thinking
about your thoughts and simply remain quiet, in your mind.
With practice, you'll find it's easy and effortless to
break a train of thought you do not wish to encourage.
You'll also find it beneficial to cut out all the people
who want to dump their problems on you. You don't have to
be nasty or rude. Just stop allowing them to invade your
life with the things that they, themselves, are unwilling
to deal with. It is not your duty to hear other people
whine about their life.

There are troubles and duties we all must deal with. I'm
not suggesting you drop your responsibilities and slack off
on what you know you must do. Just take the time to
question all of your assumptions regarding duty and
responsibility. Figure out how much of your life is spent
doing things that you really don't have to be doing. Get
rid of all the old, bad habits that cause unnecessary
aggravation and eliminate them from your life.

4 Awesome Ways To Generate More Profits For ANY Affiliate Program

Hi Isyaias,

In today's article, you will learn how YOU can create an unfair
advantage over all other affiliates - even if you don't have
a large mailing list, high-traffic website or a guru reputation.

This is what I call the exclusive incentive marketing tactic.

Why should anyone buy through YOUR affiliate link when there
are potentially thousands of other affiliates promoting the same
offer?

Do you think it's because you promoted the offer FIRST?

Think again.

Just a couple of days ago I received an email from one of my
regular customers. He thanked me for sending him an email about a
new product that I had begun promoting. He explained that he was
just about to buy the same product from someone else when he
received my email.

Of course, I offered an INCENTIVE - a couple of products of my own
valued at the same amount of the product I was promoting. He
excitedly reported to me that he was going to purchase from ME
instead of the other guy, SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE I had the extra
bonus included in my offer.

A few minutes later his order came in.

Want to outsell other affiliates? Want to outsell them even though
you are all promoting the EXACT same product at the EXACT same
price? Want to create an advantage that levels the playing field
with the "big boys" who have the large lists and large budgets?

Offer MORE!

You need to create an incentive. Some unique and exclusive reason
why folks should order through YOUR affiliate link and not one of
your competitors.

Now here are some ideas of developing exclusive, high-quality free
incentives to grab the attention of your prospects:

1 Resell Rights Products.

Offer some resell rights products related to the product you are
promoting!

2. Free Advertising

How about offering a free solo mailing to your entire list? Or, an
endorsement mailing? Or, an entire package of advertising on your
websites?

3. A Service

Are you handy with graphic design? Offer a free design for folks
who buy through YOUR affiliate link.

However, graphic design isn't the only service incentive you can
offer. How about these...

* Proofreading / Editing.

* Product Reviews

* Script Setup.

4. Cash Rebate.

This is one of the most powerful incentives. I see a couple of
super affiliates use this tactic in some affiliate contests. They
may get less in affiliate commissions, but end up earning more in
all kinds of affiliate prizes.

Okay, that's it for this time.

I hope you realize the magnitude of just how powerful and
profitable this strategy can be.

It's a surefire money-maker tactic, but only for those who take
action.

To your amazing success!

The Ways To Sell Info Products

Hello Nichers,

In this issue we are going to go over some of the ways you
can sell info products to hot niches.

There are a lot of people who would love to be able to
create a cool informational product and be able to make a
great living (even get rich) while sitting in a comfy chair
in front of their computers knowing that never again would
they have to drive in rush hour traffic with all those
crazies or put up with an unrelenting, over zealous boss
who never had and never would or could be pleased.

What a beautiful vision!

The truth is that lovely vision can become a reality but
you will have to pay your dues first. Successful niche
markets for an informational product don't grow on trees or
fall out of the sky.

The first thing you need and must have to create an
informational product is an idea, a subject, a topic, that
will fill the needs, solve a problems, or just make life
better for some particular and very specific segment of the
general population. You are surrounded by ideas if you just
look. Look at yourself first.

- What is your biggest problem?
- Do your friends share the problem?
- Are you passionate about a hobby or a sport?

These kinds of things are the stuff of which informational
products are made of. So the very first thing you need is
to identify a topic and, thereby, a market.

Another thing that you need to have in order to create an
informational product which will become successful is
research.

Every topic and every subject are not going to make money.
Many of them will, but just as many will not. The best
research is accomplished by reading and talking to people
who have succeeded in niche marketing informational
products.

Savvy niche marketers can spot a great topic from forty
paces with one eye shut. Ask. Read. Research.

When you have an idea and have done the research that has
proven that there is a market for your informational
product, the rest is just a matter of creating the product
building a great website and advertising it.

Nine Online Business Methods

In reality, they are all very similar to the business
models you see in the offline world.

You can sell goods and services, you can produce products
for wholesale distribution, you can sell information, you
can sell tools to help people in their own business model,
you can sell advertising, or you can provide consulting
services.

Do you see a common theme in all of these models?

That's right---to have a viable business, you have to
literally provide some kind of a good or service that adds
value to someone or something, either online or offline.

I think that when people think about going into business
offline, they look for a need in their community and try to
fill it.

Online, they tend to think, OK, what can I do to make a lot
of money?

There is a huge difference between the two.

Online, I think people really believe that if they put up a
web site and sell something, the money will just come in.

It is simply not an accurate thought, but I think that just
about everybody has thought it at one time or another.

So to create an income online, you must meet a need, just
like you would in the offline world.

You meet that need by producing, developing, distributing,
or brokering a product or service.

That is just about it. You will never earn long-term viable
income from schemes and scams, no more than a bank robber
will earn a long-term viable income robbing banks.

Here are some of the basic business models you can find on
the web:

1) Production model. This is a company that produces value
by transforming one good into another for online
consumption. An offline equivalent would be a shoemaker or
a gold mining firm. The online equivalent might be the
development of new software or search technology, or the
development of online technology that aids in the execution
of some of the other online business models.

2) Merchant model. This is a company that specializes in
the sales and organizes the delivery of goods and services
to an online market. This can be compared to the offline
equivalent of a merchant. Some examples online are
bookstores, food stores, catalog web sites and other goods
and services sales organizations.

3) Advertising model. This is a company that specializes in
providing the service of advertising or promotion to other
online firms, for example, those firms that operate using
the production or merchant model. This model charges these
companies a fee to advertise the goods and services
provided by the other online business models.

4) Affiliate model. This is a model that resembles the
advertising model, but is different in that it focuses on
recruiting many individual companies or individuals to do
the advertising in a systematic and piecemeal way. Whereas
in the advertising model, the advertiser is paid based on
the amount of advertising distributed, the affiliate model
pays the affiliate marketer when a sale or step in a sales
process is completed. This step may be an online visit, a
request for more information, or the actual sale itself.

5) Brokerage model. This model is one that compensates the
broker for bringing together buyer and seller, usually in
the form of a personal, one-on-one introduction. An example
of this might be an online auction or a processor of online
payments.

6) Information model. The information business model is one
in which the company provides information to a specific
field or niche market. This information would typically
instruct another company or individual on an easier or more
efficient method of performing a task, or actually teach
the task or the implementation of the task.

7) Subscription model. This is an overlay model, one which
is generally incorporated into one of the other models.
This model would provide a good or service over a
protracted period of time, and provide a guaranteed and
generally consistent level of that good or service for a
period of time, for example over the course of several
months. Two products that fit into this subscription model
might be that of online monthly video rentals or services
like food or medicines which are delivered on a regular
basis by commitment.

8) Utility model. This model operates in much the same way
as an offline utility might operate, offering a product
that has, through its use, become a necessity and is often
tightly controlled. An example of an online utility model
would be that of internet access or telephone service via
an online network.

9) Community model. This is a business
model that focuses on bringing together individuals or
companies of similar interest for the purpose of developing
relationships and sharing information. Two examples of the
community web phenomenon are the recently created Myspace
and the older online forum.

When deciding to go into business online, it is important
to determine which of these business models most interest
you. To which of these models are you best suited?

In which of these models are you most likely to be
considered an expert, or in which would you have the
willingness to become an expert?

Niche Marketing is The Last Great Frontier for The Small Business Entrepreneur

Hello Nichers,

In the last issue we talked about what niche marketing is
not. In this issue we are going to go over why niche
marketing is the way to go if you want to succeeding
online.

Niche Marketing is the last great frontier for the small
business entrepreneur. Out there in the 'real' world, small
businesses don't have a half fair chance of competing
against the giant international corporations of the world.

The Internet has evened the odds for small business.

The Internet has created a real equal opportunity for those
who are willing to use it. There are several different ways
to make use of niche marketing and succeed. All of the ways
require getting a domain and a webhost, building web pages
and adding content.

Those are just the basic basics of Internet Marketing in
any form. Then there are the choices of how to go about
building a successful niche marketing site that will
provide you with a profit, hopefully a very large profit.

1. You can create an informational product. This product
can be articles, reports, columns, audio or video, or
other things. These can be sold as stand alone products
or used for advertisement or promotional causes.

2. You can build a content rich web site that will be so
interesting it will draw potential customers again and
   again.

3. You can publish newsletters and ezines that are so full
of pertinent information that people will happily pay
   for subscriptions to them.

All of the ways that I have listed above can be used to
create a niche marketing website that has the capacity to
make you money and they also have two things in common.

First, the topic must be one that helps people solve a
problem, makes them healthier, happier, or provides them
with information that they want or need in some way.

Second. the content of the website, no matter the topic,
must be relevant, timely and interesting to the people who
are reading it and the website must be easily navigated.

Building your niche business can be time consuming, but
compared to starting a "brick and mortar' business,  it
truly is the greatest frontier for any small business.

Make sure you look for your next  issue soon.

What Niche Marketing is NOT

Hello Nichers,

In the last issue we talked about how to find and solve
problems
.

In this issue we are going to go over what niche marketing
is not.

Niche marketing is not about trying to sell your product or
service to the world at large. As a small business person,
you couldn't afford that kind of multi-million dollar
advertising budget. It isn't possible. You can, however,
with only a computer, an internet connection and a good
idea sell to a smaller audience using niche marketing.

Niche marketing is not about trying to compete. Competition
is taken out of the equation when you do niche marketing.
You aren't out there in the world lined up beside or behind
a million other people who are selling the same thing you
are selling. You are selling to a specific audience that
you have created for yourself with your opt-in email list.

Niche marketing is not about selling to different people
every day of the week. Once you have your list built, you
can sell to the same people time and time again. By taking
as much time as you need and putting forth enough effort to
get to know the people who make up your list of buyers you
can continue to sell to them.

Niche marketing is not about focusing on the big picture.
It is about focusing on the small picture and the smaller
the better. Narrowing your niche down to a very specific
part of a larger market assures you of gaining a fair
market share of that small part. The world is a big place
and there are billions of people. You only need an
infinitesimal portion of the population to have a huge list
of potential buyers of your products or services.

Niche marketing is not about seeing only the
impossibilities. Niche marketing is only about looking
closely at the possibilities. Small possibilities converted
to sales can equal big profits.

Make sure you look for your next  issue soon.

Your First Niche Marketing Basics Issue

Hello Nichers,

Welcome to the first of Issue Niche Marketing Basics. This
is a bonus supplement to your daily NicheAday emails.

In each issue of Niche Marketing Basics you will learn
valuable information on how you can get the best results
from your niche  marketing efforts.

These are bonus issues besides your daily NicheAdays.

In this first issue I want to start by asking you a
question.

What is Niche Marketing?

We hear the term thrown around a lot, but unless you really
understand what niche marketing is you will have a very
hard time being successful at it!

The word 'niche' is defined as: "A special area of demand
for a product or service". 'Marketing' is defined as: "The
opportunity to buy or sell". If you put the two words
together, niche marketing means buying or selling a product
or service in a special area of demand. All that really
means is that a product or service is being sold to the
people who are most interested in that particular product
or service and not to the world in general.

Often times big business uses niche marketing. For example,
a company that makes computers and computer accessories
might advertise all-in-one copy/printer/scanners to the
home computer user while at the same time advertising
single function machines to large businesses.

One of the things that make niche marketing so attractive
to sellers is that their advertising budgets go further. It
costs less to advertise to a specialized market than it
does to advertise to a broader market.

Niche marketing must be designed to meet the unique needs
of the targeted audience. Niche marketers must tailor their
product to meet those unique needs. If, for example, you
have designed a product to make gourmet cooking easy enough
for the untrained professional to do it, those who want to
be gourmet cooks will be most interested in your product.
Those who like to eat out would not.

In essence, niche marketing is selling a product or service
to those who want or need the product the most.

Finding the right niche for what you have to sell isn't
really all that difficult. Just think about who the people
are who would be most interested in what you have to sell.

Before you decide which niche market to dive into you will
need to  do a little research. You will want to make sure
that the market is easily defined and reachable. You will
also want to find out  what your potential customer likes
to do and read.

- What kind of trade articles or books do they read?
- Do they have clubs or are members of particular
  organizations?
- Does the group have an insane passion for their hobby or
  topic of interest?
- Do they eat, sleep, and breathe their hobby?
- Do they actively seek more information related to their
  subject?

Ask yourself, is the market small enough that you won't
have to many competitors, but still large enough for you to
make a good profit?

Most of all does the market have the money to spend?

Doing research related to these questions will help you
pick the perfect niche to market to. In future issues we
will go more into how you can research and pick  profitable
niches. In the mean time keep the questions above in mind
when your are trying to choose a new niche market.

Look for your next issue soon...

Mobile Content That Get Attention

Hi Isyaias!

If you are not familiar with mobile content, it is generally
content that is used or viewed on mobile phones. If you
have been thinking about making your content mobile, than
this eCourse will help you to understand how you can
successfully offer your mobile content online.

With mobile devices such as mobile phones and PDAs, you are
now able to offer your ebooks, videos, audios, music,
software, and many other things to potential customers for
them to download to their mobile phones.

In order to have the most success offering mobile content,
you want to make sure to offer quality products that are
new and exciting so that your potential customers are
motivated to purchase your products.

Here are some ways to make sure that your mobile content
gets attention.

1. Make your content useful. Try to think of ideas that you
would find helpful to have on your own mobile device. If
you find that you enjoy reading on your mobile phone, then
you may want to make ebooks as your mobile content.

If you enjoy playing video games, you may want to develop
some entertaining games that people will want to have on
their phones.

2. Make sure to offer unique content. There are already
many people offering ring tones, so you will want to come
up with something that will gain people's interest. Put
together content, images, video, newsletters or other
interesting and unique content that they cannot find
anywhere else.

3. Offer entertaining videos. If you are creative at
producing funny or entertaining videos, put together a few
free ones, post them on video sites, and let people know
that they can get more videos to download to their mobile
phones.

4. Make sure that you watch for the screen width. Because
mobile devices have a very small screen, width it is
important to make sure that your mobile content still works
on very small screens.

5. You also want to be careful about bandwidth. Since most
mobile devices access the web at dial-up speeds, it is
important to pay attention to your file sizes so that your
customers are not waiting for 20 minutes for an image to
download.

Make sure to compact your source code as much as possible.
When you are writing your HTML code make sure that you keep
everything tightly wrapped together in order to reduce the
source code size.

The more interesting and fun you make your mobile content,
the more likely you are to get a good following of
customers. Just remember to always try to think outside the
box and make all of your content unique, exciting and fun
so that people will keep coming back for more.

To your success,
Joan CE

Hasta La Vista... Vista!

Hasta La Vista... Vista!

With Windows 7 arriving imminently, we can't say we're sorry to see you go, Vista.

Farewell! Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Windows 7 has arrived, and soon Vista will be retired to the Microsoft Hall of Shame alongside such notorious stinkers as Windows Me and Microsoft Bob.

Too harsh a judgment?

Perhaps. To some Vista wasn't so bad, but a loud and vocal group of Vista haters never let us forget the much maligned OS's shortcomings. Still, there's no denying that Vista has had more than its fair share of woes, and that Microsoft was wise to replace it less than three years after its debut.

Here are five things we at PC World won't miss about Vista:

1. Too much nagging:
Vista's User Account Control (UAC), designed as a security feature to prevent security breaches, did its job a little too well. Its pop-up warnings, preceded by screen blackouts, appeared when users attempted even mundane tasks, such as setting the system clock.

Newbies were scared; experts were annoyed. There were workarounds, of course, but most users didn't bother.

Windows 7 will be considerably less pesky.

2. Slow, slow, slow:
Vista had some cool graphics and utilities, including the slick Aero interface and handy Sidebar applets, but all that excess code was a drag on performance, particularly if you were foolish enough to run Vista on a PC that met the minimum system requirements. Microsoft says Windows 7 is faster, but the verdict is still out.

One developer claims Win 7 boots slower than Vista. The PC World Test Center reports that Win 7 is faster overall, but not by much.

3. You never liked my hardware:
Users often grumbled about Vista's lousy driver support, and industry analysts questioned the thoroughness of Microsoft's driver-testing process. Will Windows 7 be any better?

Some early testers have managed to get Win 7 running on decrepit, XP-era hardware, but not without the occasional driver glitch. Hopefully, Win 7's trimmer code means it'll run better than Vista on older PCs.

4. Blasé backup:
Vista's File Backup utility was too feeble. It wouldn't let you backup specific files and folders, and it bypassed files it thought were part of the OS.

Windows 7's improved Backup Center corrects these deficiencies, and also lets you backup to a network volume (but only in the Professional and Ultimate versions).

5. Too many garbage apps:
Say, Vista users, when's the last time you fired up Windows Movie Maker or Windows Mail?

As every Windows user knows, apps bundled with the OS generally aren't very good. As part of its slimmer, trimmer approach to Windows 7, Microsoft has left out these two lackluster utilities, as well as the equally forgettable Windows Photo Gallery.

Still want them? Go to Windows Live Essentials. They're free to download.

Successfully Promote Your Membership Site

Isyaias

If you already have an online business, then you
know how important it is to get the word out about
your product. You will need to do the same with
your membership site if you want it to be a
success.

Try these steps to begin your promotion. Some of
the same marketing strategies that you used for
your online business will work but they may need
to be tweaked a bit. You'll see what we mean in
a second.

1. Target the correct market. This usually goes
without saying, but your market may have changed a
bit with the membership site. If your target
market was those interested in fitness, the group
that would pay for a fitness membership site may
be a more focused group of fitness buffs who are
serious about staying in shape or who want to be
fitness trainers. You'll have to modify your
sales pitch just a bit.

2. Use unique content. Your visitors already get
the run-of-the-mill stuff everywhere else. Present
them with something that is innovative or has a
new twist on an old problem. Use snippets of your
articles on the home page so that they get a taste
of what they will see if they sign up to become
members. And, don't forget about SEO marketing.
High search engine rankings, as you know, draw
more traffic to your membership site.

3. Network like crazy. Use all of the avenues
open to you. Guest blog for some of your business
associates. In your bio, promote the membership
site. Find your way onto guest spots on online
radio shows and business podcasts. Use social
networking venues like YouTube to start a viral
marketing campaign using video media. It can be a
simple video using an animated PowerPoint
presentation set to music or with audio.

4. What about an affiliate program? This will be
promoted from within the membership. Introduce the
affiliate program to your members as a way to make
a profit from the membership with your site. Also
offer incentives at various levels as their sales
increase like a second tier affiliate program that
gives residuals for referrals.

5. Offer a free trial membership. For three or
four days (a week if you want), offer those who
will sign up for emails and newsletters limited
access to the membership area. Entice them by
giving them access to a few articles, but when
they click on links for eBooks, special reports or
video for more in-depth information, they are
redirected to a page that says those items are
only accessible with a paid membership.

To drive traffic and increase your membership,
you will have to promote a lot. But, if any of
your current customers are interested in taking
their knowledge to the next level, invite them
become members and bring their friends.

To your success,

Ian del Carmen

How To Make A Living Online Doing What You Love

Hi Isyaias,

I thought I'd send a quick message today while I have a
spare moment seeing as I missed sending out the Stu Sensei
Friday newsletter.

If I know you right, working online is your dream.

You don't want to be tied down to an office desk pushing
pencils all your life.

You'd rather be at home working online so you can be
your own boss and be in charge of your work habits and
your income.

But...

You DO realize that working online is actual WORK though,
don't you?

I know you probably have the idea that making money online
is easy...

But the actual truth is...and believe me, it takes a LOT
of work to get something profitable happening online.

Sure, websites can automate a lot of things so you business
runs even when you're not around...

But there is a lot of hard work that goes into setting
up, running and growing a business online.

So what you really have to consider when starting
your business is if you LIKE the work you're getting
into.

Because...

Just because you can work at home and be your own
boss....if you don't like what you're doing, it's not
going to make you happy.

The GOLDEN question to ask yourself is...

"What could I see myself doing everyday for hours on end?"

Could you write articles or ebooks all day?

Could you design graphics all day?

Could you see yourself creating products all day?

Could you see yourself connecting with other marketers
and lining up JV's all day?

Could you write sales letters all day?

Could you write PHP code all day?

Could you manage a whole team to do all the work
mentioned above all day?

It's important that you get into a business that
you LOVE because if you do something you hate,
working online will be just a big a drag as working
9 - 5 in a cramped office.

However...

Make It Fun!

The Internet offers such a massive opportunity for
business that you are bound to find something that
is right up your alley!

It Depends On The Topic!

See tasks I mentioned above? All that WORK stuff...

Imagine if you had to do all that for someone else on
a topic you had ZERO interest in.

It would be torture!

But imagine if you had your website on "fishing" that
you really, really loved.

You wouldn't mind writing articles and creating
products and really trying to pump your business
up.

That's the BEST benefit of being able to make a
living from home...to make money doing what you
love!

Plus the good news is if there is any "techy" work
you don't want to do yourself, you can outsource it
to someone else and pay a small fee for it.

So I encourage you to really think about what you
want to be doing with your time, even when you are
working, and make a successful business around that.

Have a great week!

cli.gs Is Dying, eCash Is Thriving!

Hi Isyaias,

Have you ever used cli.gs to shorten your URLs?

Recently cli.gs announced that they are going out of business.

This is the second highly-popular URL shortener service in recent history to announce that they are shutting down for lack of revenue.

Do you really want to trust your URL shortening to a company that could go under any minute?

Click here to log in now...

Unlike cli.gs, eCash became profitable within a week of its inception.  And we are paying you to shorten your links with it.

In fact, the more popular eCash gets, the more money everyone makes...and our links won't go offline at some point in the future.  Our revenue model is stable...as income outpaces expense many times over.

Also, we are experiencing massive growth and loving every minute of it!

We are now ranked #7,827 on Alexa in the US and #18,540 world-wide...in fact last month alone we received over 967,000 visits to our 376,000+ links!

You owe it to yourself to make eCash your default URL shortening service.  Why not use this free tool to make you easy income?

Click here to log in now...

In the last week alone, eCash has generated $18,693.54 in easy commissions for affiliates just like you!

eCash is also a great tool for recruiting sub-affiliates.  If you want to make easy money without really doing much this is your best bet.

And did I mention that it is all 100% Free?  Since you're already an affiliate you just log in to the system using your nickname and password:

Benefits of Using Twitter with Targeted Users and Interests

Hi Isyaias,

When using Twitter, the entire point of the website is for your writing to be read by followers, on a regularly updated basis.  Whether you use it for business promotion, website promotion, personal blog promotion, or just for fun, you want to be noticed and you want to be heard!  There are ways is a way to generate a population of followers that will read your tweets and then actually look into what you are saying or talking about.  This will give you higher conversational rates on website sales, more traffic to your websites, better targeted potential customer audience for your business, or at least a good feeling your writing is being read and heard by other people around the world.

Let's say you own a website related to woodworking and you're looking to promote it on Twitter to gain some more viewers.  You signed up to Twitter to gain some followers, make regular updates, and hopefully get people to check out what you're doing on your website.  The one way to gain followers that will actually read and care about what you say are followers with similar interests.  Taking our example, you might try to use "woodworking" or "carpentry" to find people on Twitter to follow you.  This will allow you to find people interested in the same hobby or activity as you, giving you targeted followers.

The benefit of having targeted users on Twitter following you is their likelihood to care about and read into what you are saying.  If you have readers that aren't interested to woodworking and everything you tweet is related to woodworking, how much do you really think they are going to care about what you have to say regarding types of wood glues are the best or the tools one should use to cut a certain angle.  On the other hand, if you have targeted users following you with the same interests, you will have high conversation rates and better response from readers if you target users and interests.

Twitter vs. FaceBook

You know that blue bird, the one that "tweets" and
you see on nearly every blog, every "web 2.0"
site out there?

Have you heard how Twitter played a role in the
President Obama election?

Do you watch Family Guy? You've probably caught
references to Twitter at least twice in the show.

"Twitter" hit the mainstream hard.

About 2 - 2.5 years ago, I sang its praises (and,
in fact, talk about it in the traffic course I
give away for fr*ee at RobTheGenieToth.com).

There's just an INSANE amount of ebooks, articles,
videos, techniques, training courses, reports,
loop-holes, scripts and services related to Twitter.

So it must be hot, right??

Yes and no.

In my opinion, it's a virtual water cooler. Meaning
it's a place to hang out, throw pointless stories
around (in 140 chars), toss around ideas, be seen,
kill time.

For most people the attraction is being able
to "belong" (ie: being one of the Tweeple) and, even
more so, it's about being heard.

Even if none of your Followers are really paying
attention and none of them care, every tweet you
put out makes you feel like there's someone out
there listening to you.

In fact, often it's the digital equivalent of
talking to yourself. Except online, you don't look
quite as crazy. In fact... you're part of the
hip "tweeple" crowd.

AND THAT is the underlying draw of Twitter.

==================
TWITTER - A JOKE
==================

Problem is...

Twitter is kinda like a virtual water cooler.

I already said that, right?

Okay... now, when was the last time you built a
really strong relationship around a water cooler?
Better yet, when was the last time you were being
productive around a water cooler??

Add on the fact that Twitter is being abused HARD
with so many automation  scripts and spam tools...

Here's my verdict...

(1) Yes, it makes sense to have a Twitter account
seeing as any Followers you build on there become
a new audience or "list" allowing you to tap
into that for buzz promotions, market research,
affiliate recruitement and sales. And you may
even get your name talked about a little more.

(2) It makes sense to have a Twitter account
because you can automatically add tweets to your
account (for example, all Aweber users can
easily "broadcast" their email as a Tweet). So
why not distribute your message further, for
the same effort!

(3) It makes NO REAL SENSE to actually invest
time on Twitter manually! Your time ROI simply
isn't worth it.

==================
FACEBOOK - A MUST
==================

Facebook, on the other hand, is still a marvel.

The coolest thing to come to the internet since
search engines.

And by "cool" I mean in how well it can be used
as a virtual-you: for personal *OR* for BUSINESS use.

Here's a great line from "He's Just Not That Into
You" (my sister and a girl friend told me to
watch the movie because apparently I'm eerily
similar to Justin Long's character ... don't know
about that, but a good movie either way).

Here's what one of the girls in the movie says:

"Things have changed. People don't just meet
organically anymore. If I want to make myself more
attractive to the opposite shex, I don't go get
a new haircut - I update my profile."

There's a LOT of truth to that.

Things HAVE changed.

If you're not in the Facebook world yet, it's
getting to the point where you're operating as
a Bata-Max or a VHS vs. a DVD or Blue-Ray Disc.
Point is... make the upgrade and join us in
today's civilization!!

I could write an entire report on strategic
and productive and profitable ways to use Facebook
(I know because I gave a friend from my social
circle several "tricks" of how to quickly grow his
own social circle ... and the results of my tips
put a serious smile on his face!)

I'll be blunt:

Twitter, is a fad. Join it. Create an account.
Get yourself some followers. Use it as a new medium
to reach your audience. Tap into the TOO MUCH
automation tools if you'd like. Don't invest too
much time on there.

Facebook, is a must. Like email and a telephone
line.

Don't know how to setup a Facebook profile or the
basics of what/where/how/why to use it all?
Find yourself an 8-year-old. I'm not even kidding!

Or... next best thing, google "how to setup facebook
profile" or "how to use facebook" and you'll find
lots of step by step videos

==> TIP !!

Do not intermingle your social world with your
business world.

Your best buddy Jim, doesn't care about the latest
ebook on internet marketing that you want to promote
as an affiliate or your talk of the marketers
you met at the recent marketing conference.

Your prospects, clients and business peers don't
care how many beers you polished off at the football
game this past weekend.

That's not to say you can't cross some personal
updates with business... but you'll find your life
A LOT simpler and your account a LOT more profitable
if you use 2 accounts.

I have a "Rob Toth" account that I keep as my
social circle and a "Rob 'The Genie' Toth" account
that I keep as friends from the business/online
world, prospects, associates etc.

I *REALLY* advise you to do the same. I could devote
a couple of pages as to the other reasons of why,
but I won't touch on that here.

With that said... go create or update your Facebook profile.

** p.s. If you'd like to add me as a Facebook
friend, here's a direct link http://www.Rob-Toth.com .
I'm still on Twitter as well @robtoth .

** p.p.s. Want to be more than just virtual "Friends"?

Want to invite me in to help make sense of your
upcoming launch and build it with you?

Want me to help you pull cash from the various digital assets
you have "rotting" on your hard-drive?

Wanna have me coordinate and help wrap up
and release any of your MANY unfinished projects
that are sitting on the back-burner?

Here's how you can do that right now or secure
the hours with me and put me to work in the future:

How To Harness Psychology To Your Advantage

Hi Isyaias,

Here's your second tip.  When we started doing this, you
wouldn't believe the sudden increase in response we got.

A long time ago, before the Internet, there were a lot of people
trying to perfect the art of direct marketing through the mail.
One person had the brilliant idea of trying to personalize the
messages that were sent out using the recipient's name.

Isyaias, they figured that if they used people's names in their
marketing, that people would be more likely to pay attention.

The problem was, it was too expensive to print everyone's name
individually.  There were a few really smart tricks that were
invented to get around this problem...

But now, as I'm sure you've noticed, almost every postal mail
advertisement customizes to your name...even though it is more
expensive than just printing one letter in bulk.

Why?  Simple.  It works better!

So, if you can, in any circumstance, try to personalize your
marketing.

We've implemented into DesktopLightning.com a way that you can
personalize your messages, in both the subject line and the
message body, to use the recipient's first name.

This is so powerful though, that we definitely didn't want
everyone to be using it.  So, we also only included this in the
Platinum membership, for people who take their marketing
seriously.

Click here for more information on that:

DesktopLightning - Strengths and Weaknesses

Isyaias,

If you've been following what's been going on in the Internet
Marketing scene then I'm sure you've at least heard about
Desktop Lightning by now.

A lot of people are saying really good things about the site,
but are they true?

I decided to write up an honest review of the site, covering
what I believe to be its strengths and its weaknesses, just
to clear it up once and for all...

======================================
DesktopLightning.com - Strengths and Weaknesses
======================================

  Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5 stars (* * * * 1/2)

  In A Nutshell
  -------------

A catchy new viral marketing tool, capable of broadcasting
messages directly to people's desktops.  Easy to use, and
caters primarily to those who have something they want to
promote and are looking for a better way to do it.

(Read on for why I didn't give it 5 stars)

  1. Initial Impressions
  ----------------------

  When I was first introduced to DesktopLightning.com, I wasn't
quite sure exactly what to think.  Everyone was saying it was
going to be more powerful than e-mail marketing, but this
seemed like too bold of a claim.

I signed up anyway, since I usually give things a chance --
that's how I have found the several sites I do really trust
  and rely on.

The signup process did take about 60 seconds, as advertised,
and their software program downloaded and installed in about
30 seconds.  No long, tedious install processes here.  If you
own downloadable software, you might want to take a look at
how quick their install process is.

Right after installing the software, it ran immediately, and
I was quickly presented with a tool to invite my friends.

Within one-click's access was my Inbox, the tool to send
broadcasts, a statistics page, and my favorite, the "Build
  Your Network" page.

I'll get more into why that's my favorite page later.

  2. Viral Growth
  ---------------

This is where the site really shines, in my opinion.  The
purpose of a viral marketing site is that you should be able
to invite just a few people, and then it will start growing
  on its own.

Many sites claim to work like this, but few actually work as
  advertised.

I'm not sure if it's because of their unique concept or the
slick implementation, but this site is REALLY viral.  Here's
some of the testimonials they got, which I think sum it up
  pretty well:

"I haven't ever seen a system build a downline so
fast. I joined your program just to try something
new.  Four days later I had a downline of 43 people.
      This is unbelievable."

           ~ Harry Joseph

"I invited just a handful of people only a few days
ago and I already have 48 members on 5 levels below
me.  I am going to keep promoting this, but I see it
has a life of it's own now. I couldn't stop my
network from expanding if I wanted to!"

           ~ David Parton

"This website is so viral - I received over 100
sign-ups and my network is already 5 levels deep in
     less than 48 hours."

           ~ Rene Keiser

Although they obviously can't guarantee results for anyone,
the general consesus is that most people who do get those
initial few people in are experiencing results similar to
  these.

I give DesktopLightning.com an A+ for spreading like wildfire.

  3. Direct-To-Desktop Broadcasts
  -------------------------------

So, once you have the people in your network from the direct
invitations and the viral growth, then it really gets cool.
Now is when you get to broadcast whatever message you want
  directly to their desktops.

Gone are the days of sending out emails and wondering if
they were received due to spam filters and crowded inboxes.

If you upgrade to their Platinum membership, then you can even
get exact statistics on the percentage of your broadcasts that
were opened, but the Platinum membership is not the subject
  of this review.

Here's how it works -- the DesktopLightning.com software is
what allows the direct-to-desktop communication to be
received. Since everyone in your network will have the
DesktopLightning.com application installed, just as you do,
this is what allows such smooth and instant communication
  to occur.

Within one hour of your sending the message, everyone in your
network who is online will receive a notification on their
desktop that they can click to read your message.

Anyone who isn't online at the time will receive it when they
  log on next.

I'm sure you can see why this type of communication has been
more successful than email as of late, so I won't get into
it too much here. The basic point though is that there's no
way your message can be lost, overlooked, or blocked by any
  filters.

If you upgrade to their Platinum service you can do things
like embed video and sound right into the broadcast, but
again, I'll save the Platinum service for another review.

  4. Building Your Network
  ------------------------

Most sites out there nowadays don't really help you build a
network of people below you.  They just throw you a URL and
tell you to run with it.

While this works for most advanced people, it's not something
that's very easy for people who are just starting out.

DesktopLightning.com went really far this time to make sure
that everyone has a way to bring people into their network,
  regardless of skill level.

When you click on the "Build Your Network" link from within
their application, you'll be presented with a surprising
number of tools to help you build your downline.

Everything from banners, to popups, to text ads, to invitation
tools, to emails to send out, etc.

Then, they continue to offer something which I haven't seen on
any Internet Marketing site yet -- they have a "Starting From
Scratch" section, designed specifically for people who have
no list and no website with traffic.

If you're in that position, then you'll love this section,
since they detail specific strategies you can use to promote
DesktopLightning.com (or anything for that matter), even if
you don't have anything to start with.

  Quite a valuable resource.

  5. Not For Everyone
  -------------------

With all that said, the only downside to DesktopLightning.com
is that it's not for everyone.

Of course, some might see that as an upside, since it's a more
  targeted opportunity.

Basically, the bottom line is that DesktopLightning.com is a
promotional tool.  You need to have something you want to
promote or advertise before you can really make use of the
  site.

This is all due to the fact that the basic concept is that
you build a viral network of people, and then broadcast
  something to it.

But, this "something" is whatever you want, so you must
already have something you'd want to send to a lot of people.

If you don't have something yet, you could start building your
network first, and then once you get something to promote
you'll be ready to launch it immediately.

If you do have something to promote, that's when the site
  really shines.

  6. Conclusion
  -------------

I would recommend this site to anyone who has something to
  promote or advertise.

It definitely works, and your downline will grow extremely
fast if you put some energy into getting it started.

The direct-to-desktop broadcasts are a killer app in today's
online climate, where emails barely even get through anymore.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it has
nothing to offer for people who don't have anything to
  promote or advertise yet.

If you want to advertise or promote something to a lot of
people in a unique and poweful way, then this site is for
  you.

===========================

At any rate, my general opinion is that since it's so quick to
set up and try, if you have something you want to promote you
might as well go check it out.

You can always remove it later if you decide you don't like it.

Fail Your Way To Seven Figures

Hi Isyaias,

It was just a few years ago that I was clueless online.

Not just a little clueless. Totally clueless.

Like the time I purchased my first domain name.  I bought it and hurried to the computer and typed it in.

Nothing.

I called the company that sold me the domain name.

Where's my website?

(Can you tell my face is red?)

They told me I had to buy hosting.  I thought it was a scam.

I never bought the hosting and never put up the website.

Fast forward.

I have dozens of domain names and two dedicated servers.

I also have a 7 figure Internet business.

And I did it by failing.

I failed to understand what the Internet was all about.

I failed to understand how important it was to be myself online and share about the things that were important to me.

I failed to understand that I could use my NLP skills to help people overcome the obstacles in their lives.

And I learned my gift for teaching (my doctorate is in education) could be used online.

And as I began to understand, I began to help others grow their businesses at a very rapid rate.

I've worked with people who were new to the online world who needed hand holding to people who live and breathe on the Internet.

I've also worked in the offline world as well.  Getting my start with newspaper, radio, magazines, and television and seeing the effect on a growing business.

You could say I failed my way to seven figures.

But now, I've marked out a path.

You won't have to fail.  Because I'll be your guide.

Tomorrow, I'm opening the doors to my mentoring program.

But the bad news is, a few people have already asked me for spots.

So I urge you to watch your email box tomorrow morning around 9 AM Eastern time.

And then, watch the video and read the details to find out if you qualify.

I'd like to be your river guide to the city of gold.

Will you join me?

Peace.

The One secret You Need To Know

Hey there Isyaias,

First, a heads-up about a "48 Hour Weekend ONLY"
special offer that starts tomorrow.

I'll let you know as soon as it starts and if you
move on it before the weekend is up, you'll be
able to snag a great deal..around 60% off the
regular price.

So, don't miss that tomorrow!

Today however, I wanted to give you a brief insight
on the one secret that changed my life.

This one secret let me go from broke to earning
a full time income online in less than 12 months.

It's how I was able to get rid of my doubts about
myself and really start getting to work.

Want to know what it is?

It's the MINDSET.

Obtaining a marketers mindset is a huge step for
every entrepreneur, but it surprises me how little
it's talked about.

When I first started, I knew nothing when it came
to marketing or making money.

I just knew I wanted to make some!

I didn't know it at the time, but I was bound by
fear.

I was basically scared of three (3) things.

#1. I was scared of screwing up and embarrasing
myself.

#2. I was scared that I wasn't qualified to do
"business" and that I'd get flamed.

#3. I was scared of where being successful
would take me...as strange as that sounds.

I wasn't scared of the learning part...because I
love to learn new things and figure out "how stuff
work". So the "how to" part didn't hold me back.

It was my mindset.

My negative thoughts (fears) held me back..it
was all in the mind.

I didn't believe I could be successful because
these fears didn't let me.

So how did I breakthrough?

As the shampoo commercial says...

"It didn't happen overnight, but it did happen."

I worked at it. I trained my mind. I studied
about attaining the "mindset".

I studied other great marketers and entrepreneurs.
I listened to some audio books like "Think and Grow
Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

I learned that we have 100% control over our future.

We can choose to do anything with our lives, and so
we are responsible for the outcome of our decisions.

This gave me the hope to go out and start making
decisions that would lead me to where I wanted
to go.

Little by little, I took action. Like I mentioned
in my email last week, I did little things like
get a website..then a blog..I grew my subscribers.

It all slowly came together..but only after I
got the mindset right.

If I had to choose 1 point about attaining the
marketers mindset it would be this.

You need to take risks.

Do you know that scene in Indiana Jones where
he needs to cross the gorge but the pathway
is invisible?

The first step is always the scariest. It's
much easier to sit back as we are and watch
the world go by.

But will that help you achieve you dreams?

Take a chance. Invest in a course. Invest in
coaching. Invest in some website tools. Release
a product. Approach JV partners.

Sure you might bomb...but you might succeed.

And even if you do bomb, it doesn't mean your
life or career is over. You can learn from
every experience.

In short...

"Think positive, take a leap & never give up."

You can do it Isyaias...if I can, anyone can.

Have a great weekend!

Find Profitable Niches

Hi Isyaias,

It's time for your second lesson. I hope you found lesson
one informative and that you are ready to get started
researching topics for your new information product.

This is one of the most talked about subjects in Internet
marketing and can be like the search for King Solomon's
mines.

The good news is that it really doesn't have to be that
difficult and you can find profitable niches with ease.
It just requires you to think slightly outside the box.

This step is the exact method I use to find profitable
niches and is pretty easy to do!

The first thing you need to do, especially with your
first product is find a niche that interests you.

This is not always the case and there will be plenty of
profitable niches that don't really interest you at all,
but with your first product it is a good idea to find a
niche that you have some sort of interest in. It will
make the job easier for you.

If you are having difficulty thinking of a good niche
that you have an interest in, the best thing to do is
think about your hobbies.

Just think of things that you enjoy doing like cooking,
playing computer games, fishing, DIY, Ebay, collecting
stamps etc...

Another thing I should mention here is try not to spend
too much time thinking about this as it can prevent you
from taking action!

Ok, so once you have got your niche the first thing you
need to do is see if it is profitable and people are
looking for it!

Remember don't spend too much time on this just think of
something you have an interest in and move on to the next
step.

The next thing you need to do is determine how many people
are searching for your niche.

To do this you will need a good keyword tool like the one
found here: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com

There are many more that you can use and you can find them
by doing a quick search for "keyword tool" in your browser.
But for this course we will stick with the one above because
it's fast, free and easy.

Now, perform this test. Go to the link above and type in
your main topic, for instance dog training.  When you click
the button you will see a list of the top keywords on that
topic plus how many times the words have been searched for.

By performing this search you will be able to get a good
idea if the niche you are interested in is a popular one
with lots of people looking for products related to it.

Keep in mind that your niche search results should have
more than 1000 searches per month at the very least 500.
This is a rough estimate, but it will still give you a
good idea of whether or not you should move forward in
that niche.

If you did the test above, you've seen that the top main
phrases associated with dog training are:

free dog training tips
dog training collars
in home dog training
dog training collar
dog training tips

At least they are at the time I am writing this. Results
will vary.

So you should now do the same with the topic of your choice
and pick the top 5 phrases that are being most searched for
in your niche.

If you followed the above steps and your niche has less than
500 searches per month then you may want to find another
because it may not be worth putting the work in to creating
a product on that topic if there are so few looking for it!

So if you have a very small niche, try and think of another
niche with more search results.

Once you have found a niche with a decent amount of search
results move on to Step 3 where we will find out if your niche
will make you money. we will cover that in your next lesson.
So be sure to look for it!

Again, I appreciate your joining me for this short ecourse.

Product Creation Crash Course

Hi Isyaias,

Welcome to the first lesson in the Product Creation Crash
Course.

Each day for the next few days you will receive a lesson
that will help you learn the ins and outs of product
creation.

First of all, let me say Thank You for joining me for
this short course, I am confident that you will find
the content in this course invaluable when begin to
create your own information products.

The reason I've created this short course is to help
other people (like you) get started creating  their own
products.  I know it can seem like a daunting task, but
believe me when I say it is also the most profitable step
you can take for your financial future!

There is a lot of information on the web on how to create
your own products but not many of these sources provide a
clear and concise step by step plan so that you can get
your product out there and making money in the shortest
time possible!

So that is what I am going to attempt to do here. :)

I am confident if you follow the steps within this course
you will have your very own killer product that will bring
in sales for years to come.

In this first lesson let's talk a little about why the
right mind set means a lot when it comes to creating your
own product.

The hardest thing I've found and probably many other people
find to when they get started with any aspect of Internet
Marketing is all of the hard work it involves.

I am not sure how you got interested in Internet Marketing
but if you were like me you have probably been pulled in
at some point, by all the websites out there that promise
untold riches for 5 minutes work!

Don't get me wrong this is indeed possible, but in my
experience not when you are getting started. It is indeed
a reality if you have a list of 3,000 responsive buyers
that you can send out an email that will make you thousands
of dollars within a few days.

Although to start off you need to create that product and
build that list and unfortunately that will require some
good old fashion research and elbow grease!

So you will need the correct mind set and I am not going
to write pages and pages of motivation for you, except to
answer the number one question that stops people taking
action or makes them give up in my experience.

I know this question comes up and can be very hard to
overcome because I have asked myself the same question
plenty of times when I was getting started with Internet
Marketing.

Here is the question or questions I found myself asking
when I was getting started:

"Is this going to work?"

"Is all this work worth it?"

"Will my product sell?"

These are the three main questions that I found myself
asking when I was creating my own product.

Well take it from me the answer to all those questions is
"Yes it really does work!".

If you follow the steps within this course you will see
that Internet Marketing does not have some secret formula!

All you have to do is see things through to the end, have
the ability to follow a series of steps and probably most
important take action!

Whether it takes you 5 days or 5 weeks to follow these
steps see them through to the end and I guarantee you will
achieve success online!

Once you create your own product and once that is pulling
in money you can do the same thing over and over to build
a virtual empire.

We have a lot to go over in the next few days if you want
to learn how to create your own product, so make sure you
look for your next lesson tomorrow.

Thank you again for joining,

Shelby Carr
